Tafsir

<h2>Name</h2>
<p>The Surah derives its name from the sentence <em>yuqatiluna fi sabil-i- hlsaff-an</em> of <a href=/61/4>verse 4</a>; thereby implying that it is a Surah in which the word <em>saff</em> occurred.</p>
<h2>Period of Revelation</h2>
<p>It could not be known from any reliable tradition, but a study of its subject-matter shows that this Surah probably was sent down in the period closely following the Battle of Uhud, for by reading between the lines perceives a clear description of the conditions that prevailed in that period.</p>
<h2>Theme and Subject Matter</h2>
<p>Its theme is to exhort the Muslims to adopt sincerity in Faith and to struggle with their lives in the cause of Allah. It is addressed to the Muslims with weak faith as well as those who had entered Islam with a false profession of the Faith and also those who were sincere in their profession. Some verses are addressed to the first two groups, some only to the hypocrites, and some only to the sincere Muslims. The style itself shows where one particular group has been addressed and where the other.</p>
<p>At the outset the believers have been warned to the effect; "Allah indeed hates those people who say one thing and do another, and He indeed loves. those who fight in the cause of the Truth, standing like a solid structure, against the enemies of Allah."'</p>
<p>In <a href=/61/5-7>vv. 5-7</a> the people of the Holy Prophet's community have been warned that their attitude towards their Messenger and their Religion should not be like the attitude that the Israelites had adopted towards the Prophets Moses and Jesus (peace be upon them). In spite of acknowledging the Prophet Moses as a Messenger of God they continued to malign him as long as he lived, and in spite of witnessing clear signs from the Prophet Jesus they denied him without any hesitation. Consequently, the Israelites became perverse, incapable of benefiting from divine guidance. This is certainly not an enviable state which another nation should imitate.</p>
<p>Then, in <a href=/61/8-9>vv. 8-9</a> a proclamation has been made with the challenge:"The Jews and the Christians, and the hypocrites, who are conspiring with them, may try however hard they may to extinguish this Light of Allah, it will shine forth and spread in the world in all its fullness, and the Religion brought by the true Messenger of Allah shall prevail over every other religion however hateful it may be to the pagans and polytheists.</p>
<p>In <a href=/61/10-13>vv. 10-13</a>, the believers have been told that the way to success both here and in the Hereafter is only one: that they should believe in Allah and His Messenger sincerely and should exert their utmost in Allah's Way with their selves and their wealth. As a reward for this they will earn immunity from Allah's punishment, forgiveness of their sins and the eternal Paradise in the Hereafter, and will be blessed with Allah's good pleasure, succor and victory in the world.</p>
<p>In conclusion, the believers have been exhorted to' the effect that just as the disciples of the Prophet Jesus had helped him in the cause of Allah, so should they also become "helpers of Allah", so that they too are blessed with the same kind of good pleasure and approval of Allah as had been the believers before them against the disbelievers.</p>

Surah Al-Anbya · The Prophets

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. Ayah 1

    بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ اقْتَرَبَ لِلنَّاسِ حِسَابُهُمْ وَهُمْ فِي غَفْلَةٍ مُّعْرِضُونَ

    Iqeôb ed i medden uqeîîi nnsen, u nitni stehzan, ur d rzin.

  2. Ayah 2

    مَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن ذِكْرٍ مِّن رَّبِّهِم مُّحْدَثٍ إِلَّا اسْتَمَعُوهُ وَهُمْ يَلْعَبُونَ

    Ur ten d ippas usmekti amaynut, s$uô Mass nnsen, mebla ma ppuraren, mara s sslen.

  3. Ayah 3

    لَاهِيَةً قُلُوبُهُمْ ۗ وَأَسَرُّوا النَّجْوَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا هَلْ هَـٰذَا إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ ۖ أَفَتَأْتُونَ السِّحْرَ وَأَنتُمْ تُبْصِرُونَ

    Ur d rzin wulawen nnsen. Ppemcawaôen wid idensen, s tuffra: "d acu t wagi, siwa amdan am kunwi? Day a pvefôem ssêur, kunwi tepwalim"?

  4. Ayah 4

    قَالَ رَبِّي يَعْلَمُ الْقَوْلَ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

    Inna: "Mass iw Iéôa timenna deg igenni, di tmurt. Neppa Issel, Issen".

  5. Ayah 5

    بَلْ قَالُوا أَضْغَاثُ أَحْلَامٍ بَلِ افْتَرَاهُ بَلْ هُوَ شَاعِرٌ فَلْيَأْتِنَا بِآيَةٍ كَمَا أُرْسِلَ الْأَوَّلُونَ

    Maca, nnan: "d taffa n tirga. Xaîi! Isnulfa t id. Xaîi! Neppa d amedyaz. Aha san, ad a$ d iawi assekni, akken id ippuceggaâ i imezwura"!

  6. Ayah 6

    مَا آمَنَتْ قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَاهَا ۖ أَفَهُمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ

    Ur tumin, uqbel nnsen, yal temdint Nesqucc, day ad amnen nitni?

  7. Ayah 7

    وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ إِلَّا رِجَالًا نُّوحِي إِلَيْهِمْ ۖ فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ

    Ur d Nuzen, uqbel ik, siwa irgazen, iwumi Nweêêa. Steqsit imawlan usmekti, ma ur teéôim.

  8. Ayah 8

    وَمَا جَعَلْنَاهُمْ جَسَدًا لَّا يَأْكُلُونَ الطَّعَامَ وَمَا كَانُوا خَالِدِينَ

    Ur ten Nerri d tifekkiwin ur ntepp lqut. Ur wekkôen.

  9. Ayah 9

    ثُمَّ صَدَقْنَاهُمُ الْوَعْدَ فَأَنجَيْنَاهُمْ وَمَن نَّشَاءُ وَأَهْلَكْنَا الْمُسْرِفِينَ

    Sinna, Neîîef deg wayen i sen Nâahed, u Nsellek iten akked wid i £ ihwan. Nen$a imcumen.

  10. Ayah 10

    لَقَدْ أَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكُمْ كِتَابًا فِيهِ ذِكْرُكُمْ ۖ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

    Ih, Nessers awen ed Tazmamt, degs asmekti nnwen. Day ur tefhimem ara?

  11. Ayah 11

    وَكَمْ قَصَمْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ كَانَتْ ظَالِمَةً وَأَنشَأْنَا بَعْدَهَا قَوْمًا آخَرِينَ

    Acêal n temdinin idensen ay Neôéa! Nexleq, deffir sent, agdud nniven.

  12. Ayah 12

    فَلَمَّا أَحَسُّوا بَأْسَنَا إِذَا هُم مِّنْهَا يَرْكُضُونَ

    Mi êussen i lwaâôan nne£, atnan la regwlen, segs.

  13. Ayah 13

    لَا تَرْكُضُوا وَارْجِعُوا إِلَىٰ مَا أُتْرِفْتُمْ فِيهِ وَمَسَاكِنِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُسْأَلُونَ

    Ur regwlet ara, u$alet ar wayen is testasrem, ar ixxamen nnwen. Amar fellawen asteqsi.

  14. Ayah 14

    قَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ

    Nnan: "a yamxix nne$, nella, s tidep, d imednas"!

  15. Ayah 15

    فَمَا زَالَت تِّلْكَ دَعْوَاهُمْ حَتَّىٰ جَعَلْنَاهُمْ حَصِيدًا خَامِدِينَ

    Ur tfukk ti$ôi yagi nnsen, armi ten Nerra d aqecqac urhif.

  16. Ayah 16

    وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاءَ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لَاعِبِينَ

    Ur Nexliq ara, i wurar nne£, igenni, tamurt, akked wayen illan garasen.

  17. Ayah 17

    لَوْ أَرَدْنَا أَن نَّتَّخِذَ لَهْوًا لَّاتَّخَذْنَاهُ مِن لَّدُنَّا إِن كُنَّا فَاعِلِينَ

    Lemmer day Neb$i lhawiyya, yili Nebbwi p id, s $uône£, maday Naâna.

  18. Ayah 18

    بَلْ نَقْذِفُ بِالْحَقِّ عَلَى الْبَاطِلِ فَيَدْمَغُهُ فَإِذَا هُوَ زَاهِقٌ ۚ وَلَكُمُ الْوَيْلُ مِمَّا تَصِفُونَ

    Xaîi! Nekkat tikerkas s tidep. Tneqq itent. Neqvent. A tawa$it nnwen, ilmend n wayen d teggarem!

  19. Ayah 19

    وَلَهُ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ وَمَنْ عِندَهُ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِ وَلَا يَسْتَحْسِرُونَ

    IneS kra illan di tmurt akked igenwan. Wid illan $uôeS, ur sme$wôen ara iman nnsen, $ef uâabed iS. Ur âaggun.

  20. Ayah 20

    يُسَبِّحُونَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ لَا يَفْتُرُونَ

    Ppanzen iv akked wass, ur sêissifen.

  21. Ayah 21

    أَمِ اتَّخَذُوا آلِهَةً مِّنَ الْأَرْضِ هُمْ يُنشِرُونَ

    Ne$ ddmen d, si tmurt, iôebbiten id ipparan ar ddunit?

  22. Ayah 22

    لَوْ كَانَ فِيهِمَا آلِهَةٌ إِلَّا اللَّهُ لَفَسَدَتَا ۚ فَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

    Lemmer llin degsen iôebbiten, war Öebbi, war ccekk, ad fesden. Gedha s Öebbi, Mass n usgeld, seg wayen id ggaren!

  23. Ayah 23

    لَا يُسْأَلُ عَمَّا يَفْعَلُ وَهُمْ يُسْأَلُونَ

    Ur fellaS asteqsi $ef wayen Ixeddem. Nitni, fellasen asteqsi.

  24. Ayah 24

    أَمِ اتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِهِ آلِهَةً ۖ قُلْ هَاتُوا بُرْهَانَكُمْ ۖ هَـٰذَا ذِكْرُ مَن مَّعِيَ وَذِكْرُ مَن قَبْلِي ۗ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ الْحَقَّ ۖ فَهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ

    Ne$ day ddmen iôebbiten, war Neppa? Ini: "Awit ed atebbet nnwen". Ayagi d asmekti i wid illan yidi, d asmekti i wid illan, uqbel i. Maca, tegwti segsen, ur ssinen tidep. D$a zzin akin.

  25. Ayah 25

    وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا نُوحِي إِلَيْهِ أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا أَنَا فَاعْبُدُونِ

    Ur d Nuzen amazan, uqbel ik, siwa ma Nweêêa yas ar: "ur illi ôebbi siwa Nek, ihi âabdet iyI".

  26. Ayah 26

    وَقَالُوا اتَّخَذَ الرَّحْمَـٰنُ وَلَدًا ۗ سُبْحَانَهُ ۚ بَلْ عِبَادٌ مُّكْرَمُونَ

    Nnan: "Isâa Uênin aqcic". Gedha s yiS! Xaîi! D imdanen imaâzuzen.

  27. Ayah 27

    لَا يَسْبِقُونَهُ بِالْقَوْلِ وَهُم بِأَمْرِهِ يَعْمَلُونَ

    Ur S d zeggwiren deg wawal, xedmen s lameô iS.

  28. Ayah 28

    يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلَا يَشْفَعُونَ إِلَّا لِمَنِ ارْتَضَىٰ وَهُم مِّنْ خَشْيَتِهِ مُشْفِقُونَ

    Iéôa i illan zdat sen, akked wayen illan deffir sen. Ur ççafâan, siwa $ef win Iôuva. U nitni, si lxuf iS, pêadaren.

  29. Ayah 29

    وَمَن يَقُلْ مِنْهُمْ إِنِّي إِلَـٰهٌ مِّن دُونِهِ فَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِيهِ جَهَنَّمَ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الظَّالِمِينَ

    Win, segsen, id innan: "nek d ôebbi, war Neppa", a t Nqeîîi s Loahennama. Akka ay Nepqeîîi imednas.

  30. Ayah 30

    أَوَلَمْ يَرَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ كَانَتَا رَتْقًا فَفَتَقْنَاهُمَا ۖ وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمَاءِ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ حَيٍّ ۖ أَفَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

    Ne$ wid ijehlen ur walan ara tamurt akked igenwan llan mlalen? Nessemfaôaq iten, Nga s waman kra n wayen idren. Ihi, day ur ppamnen ara?

  31. Ayah 31

    وَجَعَلْنَا فِي الْأَرْضِ رَوَاسِيَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِهِمْ وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا فِجَاجًا سُبُلًا لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ

    Nerra di tmurt idurar, iwakken ur tepêerrik ara yissen. Nerra, degsen, tiza d iberdan, amar ad pwanhun.

  32. Ayah 32

    وَجَعَلْنَا السَّمَاءَ سَقْفًا مَّحْفُوظًا ۖ وَهُمْ عَنْ آيَاتِهَا مُعْرِضُونَ

    Nerra igenni d ssqef innestaôen, u nitni ooan issekniyen nne£.

  33. Ayah 33

    وَهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ ۖ كُلٌّ فِي فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ

    D Neppa i Ixelqen iv akked wass, iîij akked waggur, yal wa iteddu deg ubrid is.

  34. Ayah 34

    وَمَا جَعَلْنَا لِبَشَرٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ الْخُلْدَ ۖ أَفَإِن مِّتَّ فَهُمُ الْخَالِدُونَ

    Ur Nefka ara, uqbel ik, tameddurt n lebda i umdan. Day keçç a ppemmtev, nitni ad wekkôen?

  35. Ayah 35

    كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ ۗ وَنَبْلُوكُم بِالشَّرِّ وَالْخَيْرِ فِتْنَةً ۖ وَإِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُونَ

    Yal amdan ad ijeôôeb tameppant. Nepjeôôib ikwen s cceôô, akked lxiô. D ahewwel. £uône£ tu$alin nnwen.

  36. Ayah 36

    وَإِذَا رَآكَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِن يَتَّخِذُونَكَ إِلَّا هُزُوًا أَهَـٰذَا الَّذِي يَذْكُرُ آلِهَتَكُمْ وَهُم بِذِكْرِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ هُمْ كَافِرُونَ

    Mara k id walin wid ijehlen, pmmaâliken kan fellak: "d wagi id ikkaten deg iôebbiten nnwen"? Nitni nekôen asmekti n Uênin.

  37. Ayah 37

    خُلِقَ الْإِنسَانُ مِنْ عَجَلٍ ۚ سَأُرِيكُمْ آيَاتِي فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُونِ

    Ipwaxleq umdan si leêmeq. Ad awen d Ssenâate$ issekniyen iW, ihi, ur iyI $eûbet.

  38. Ayah 38

    وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَـٰذَا الْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ

    Qqaren: "melmi lemâahda yagi, ma tessawalem tidep"?

  39. Ayah 39

    لَوْ يَعْلَمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا حِينَ لَا يَكُفُّونَ عَن وُجُوهِهِمُ النَّارَ وَلَا عَن ظُهُورِهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ

    Wid ijehlen, a lemmer ad éôen tagwnip ideg ur d tekksen udmawen nnsen, ne$ iârar nnsen, si tmes! Nitni ur pwasellken.

  40. Ayah 40

    بَلْ تَأْتِيهِم بَغْتَةً فَتَبْهَتُهُمْ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ رَدَّهَا وَلَا هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ

    Xaîi! A ten id ias, deqzalla, a ten iwwet ba$a, ur zmiren a t rren, ne$ ad gganin.

  41. Ayah 41

    وَلَقَدِ اسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِالَّذِينَ سَخِرُوا مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ

    Ni$ ttahan $ef imazanen, uqbel ik! Ayen i$ef mmaâlken, izzi d $ef wid, segsen, i ittahan.

  42. Ayah 42

    قُلْ مَن يَكْلَؤُكُم بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ مِنَ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ ۗ بَلْ هُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّهِم مُّعْرِضُونَ

    Ini: "anwa ara kwen ifukken, iv akked wass, seg Uênin"? Maca, ooan asmekti n Mass nnsen.

  43. Ayah 43

    أَمْ لَهُمْ آلِهَةٌ تَمْنَعُهُم مِّن دُونِنَا ۚ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَلَا هُم مِّنَّا يُصْحَبُونَ

    Ne$ sâan iôebbiten ara ten ifukken, war Nekwni? Ur zmiren ad sellken iman nnsen, ur sâin imâiwnen mgal a£.

  44. Ayah 44

    بَلْ مَتَّعْنَا هَـٰؤُلَاءِ وَآبَاءَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ طَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْعُمُرُ ۗ أَفَلَا يَرَوْنَ أَنَّا نَأْتِي الْأَرْضَ نَنقُصُهَا مِنْ أَطْرَافِهَا ۚ أَفَهُمُ الْغَالِبُونَ

    Xaîi! Nestaser i wigi akked imezwura nnsen, ar tewser nnsen. Day ur walan ara, Neppas ed ar tmurt, Nessenqas si leryaf is? Day d Nitni ara irebêen?

  45. Ayah 45

    قُلْ إِنَّمَا أُنذِرُكُم بِالْوَحْيِ ۚ وَلَا يَسْمَعُ الصُّمُّ الدُّعَاءَ إِذَا مَا يُنذَرُونَ

    Ini: "la kwen nedôe$ kan, s uweêêi". Ur sellen iâééugen i unabi ma ppunedôen.

  46. Ayah 46

    وَلَئِن مَّسَّتْهُمْ نَفْحَةٌ مِّنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّكَ لَيَقُولُنَّ يَا وَيْلَنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ

    Ma iêuza ten uûuvu uâaqeb n Mass ik, war ccekk, a d inin: "a ssexv nne$! Ih, nella d imednas".

  47. Ayah 47

    وَنَضَعُ الْمَوَازِينَ الْقِسْطَ لِيَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ فَلَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْئًا ۖ وَإِن كَانَ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍ أَتَيْنَا بِهَا ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِنَا حَاسِبِينَ

    A n Nessers lmizanat iûewben, ass n tnekra. Ur ipwadnes umdan s wacemma. Xas d aâqqa ucceryad, a t id Nawi. Nesteqnaâ yisne£ i uqeîîi.

  48. Ayah 48

    وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَىٰ وَهَارُونَ الْفُرْقَانَ وَضِيَاءً وَذِكْرًا لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ

    Ni$ Nefka i Musa akked Haôun, afraz, akked tafat d usmekti, i wid ipêezziben.

  49. Ayah 49

    الَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُم بِالْغَيْبِ وَهُم مِّنَ السَّاعَةِ مُشْفِقُونَ

    Wid ippagwaden Mass nnsen, ur T walan, u pêaraben $ef yimir.

  50. Ayah 50

    وَهَـٰذَا ذِكْرٌ مُّبَارَكٌ أَنزَلْنَاهُ ۚ أَفَأَنتُمْ لَهُ مُنكِرُونَ

    Wagi d asmekti iôqan, id Nessader. Day a t tagwim kunwi?

  51. Ayah 51

    وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ رُشْدَهُ مِن قَبْلُ وَكُنَّا بِهِ عَالِمِينَ

    Ni$ Nefka, zik, nnhaya s i Ibôahim? Nella Nessen it.

  52. Ayah 52

    إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِ مَا هَـٰذِهِ التَّمَاثِيلُ الَّتِي أَنتُمْ لَهَا عَاكِفُونَ

    Mi inna i baba s akked ugdud is: "d acu tent tâancurin agi, i la tepkabarem"?

  53. Ayah 53

    قَالُوا وَجَدْنَا آبَاءَنَا لَهَا عَابِدِينَ

    Nnan d: "Nufa d imezwura nne$ la tent âabden".

  54. Ayah 54

    قَالَ لَقَدْ كُنتُمْ أَنتُمْ وَآبَاؤُكُمْ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ

    Inna: "ihi, tellam, kunwi akked imezwura nnwen, di ttelfan n ûûeê".

  55. Ayah 55

    قَالُوا أَجِئْتَنَا بِالْحَقِّ أَمْ أَنتَ مِنَ اللَّاعِبِينَ

    Nnan: "tusiv a$ d, s tidep, ne$ keçç seg wid ippuraren"?

  56. Ayah 56

    قَالَ بَل رَّبُّكُمْ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ الَّذِي فَطَرَهُنَّ وَأَنَا عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكُم مِّنَ الشَّاهِدِينَ

    Inna: "xaîi. Mass nnwen d Mass n tmurt akked igenwan, id Ixleq. Nek, seg inagan n waya.

  57. Ayah 57

    وَتَاللَّهِ لَأَكِيدَنَّ أَصْنَامَكُم بَعْدَ أَن تُوَلُّوا مُدْبِرِينَ

    S Öebbi, ard ad andi$ i tâancuôin nnwen, mara teîîixxôem".

  58. Ayah 58

    فَجَعَلَهُمْ جُذَاذًا إِلَّا كَبِيرًا لَّهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِ يَرْجِعُونَ

    Isseftutes itent, siwa tameqwôant degsent, amar a d u$alen $uôes.

  59. Ayah 59

    قَالُوا مَن فَعَلَ هَـٰذَا بِآلِهَتِنَا إِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ

    Nnan: "anwa i igan akka i iôebbiten nne$? Neppa, war ccekk, d amednus".

  60. Ayah 60

    قَالُوا سَمِعْنَا فَتًى يَذْكُرُهُمْ يُقَالُ لَهُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ

    Nnan: "nesla i ileméi, itent id iudren, isem is Ibôahim".

  61. Ayah 61

    قَالُوا فَأْتُوا بِهِ عَلَىٰ أَعْيُنِ النَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْهَدُونَ

    Nnan: "awit ep id, zdat wallen n medden, amar ad ilin d inagan".

  62. Ayah 62

    قَالُوا أَأَنتَ فَعَلْتَ هَـٰذَا بِآلِهَتِنَا يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ

    Nnan: "day d keçç i igan akka, i iôebbiten nne$, a Ibôahim"?

  63. Ayah 63

    قَالَ بَلْ فَعَلَهُ كَبِيرُهُمْ هَـٰذَا فَاسْأَلُوهُمْ إِن كَانُوا يَنطِقُونَ

    Inna: "xaîi, i igan akka, d ameqwôan nnsen agi. Steqsit pen, ma pmeslayen".

  64. Ayah 64

    فَرَجَعُوا إِلَىٰ أَنفُسِهِمْ فَقَالُوا إِنَّكُمْ أَنتُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ

    Endekwalen d. Nnan: "ih, d kunwi ay d imednas".

  65. Ayah 65

    ثُمَّ نُكِسُوا عَلَىٰ رُءُوسِهِمْ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَا هَـٰؤُلَاءِ يَنطِقُونَ

    Sinna, bran i iqweôôa nnsen: "ni$ wigi, teéôiv, ur pmeslayen ara"!

  66. Ayah 66

    قَالَ أَفَتَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُكُمْ شَيْئًا وَلَا يَضُرُّكُمْ

    Inna: "day tâabdem, war Öebbi, ayen ur kwen inefâan, ur kwen iîîuôôun, s wacemma?

  67. Ayah 67

    أُفٍّ لَّكُمْ وَلِمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ ۖ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

    Tfuh i kunwi, akked wayen tâabdem, war Öebbi! Day ur tefhimem ara"?

  68. Ayah 68

    قَالُوا حَرِّقُوهُ وَانصُرُوا آلِهَتَكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ فَاعِلِينَ

    Nnan: "sseô$et ep, u sellket iôebbiten nnwen, ma tâazmem".

  69. Ayah 69

    قُلْنَا يَا نَارُ كُونِي بَرْدًا وَسَلَامًا عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ

    Nenna: "a times, ili d tasmuvi u d talwit, i Ibôahim".

  70. Ayah 70

    وَأَرَادُوا بِهِ كَيْدًا فَجَعَلْنَاهُمُ الْأَخْسَرِينَ

    Undin as p. Nerra ten d imexsuôen mavi.

  71. Ayah 71

    وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَلُوطًا إِلَى الْأَرْضِ الَّتِي بَارَكْنَا فِيهَا لِلْعَالَمِينَ

    Nsellek it, akked Luî, ar tmurt i Neôqa i imavalen.

  72. Ayah 72

    وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ إِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ نَافِلَةً ۖ وَكُلًّا جَعَلْنَا صَالِحِينَ

    Nefka yas Isêaq, Nerna yas Yaâqub. I sin, Nerra ten d wid imaânen.

  73. Ayah 73

    وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ أَئِمَّةً يَهْدُونَ بِأَمْرِنَا وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْهِمْ فِعْلَ الْخَيْرَاتِ وَإِقَامَ الصَّلَاةِ وَإِيتَاءَ الزَّكَاةِ ۖ وَكَانُوا لَنَا عَابِدِينَ

    Nerra ten d imvebbôen, nehhun s lameô nne£. Nweêêa yasen igiten ilhan, taéallit, azekki. Llan d wid i £ iâabden.

  74. Ayah 74

    وَلُوطًا آتَيْنَاهُ حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْقَرْيَةِ الَّتِي كَانَت تَّعْمَلُ الْخَبَائِثَ ۗ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ فَاسِقِينَ

    I Lut, Nefka ûûwab, tamusni. Nsellek it si temdint i illan txeddem tucmitin. Llan, s tidep, d agdud n dir, d laâôuô.

  75. Ayah 75

    وَأَدْخَلْنَاهُ فِي رَحْمَتِنَا ۖ إِنَّهُ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ

    Nesskecm it deg uêunu nne£. Neppa, ih, seg wid imaânen.

  76. Ayah 76

    وَنُوحًا إِذْ نَادَىٰ مِن قَبْلُ فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ فَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ

    I Nuê, zik, mi inâaô. Njaweb as ed. Nsellek it, neppa akked twacult is, si lefqaâ abarar.

  77. Ayah 77

    وَنَصَرْنَاهُ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

    Neneêêel it mgal agdud i iskaddben issekniyen nne£. Llan, s tidep, d agdud n dir. Ne$ves iten meôôa.

  78. Ayah 78

    وَدَاوُودَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ إِذْ يَحْكُمَانِ فِي الْحَرْثِ إِذْ نَفَشَتْ فِيهِ غَنَمُ الْقَوْمِ وَكُنَّا لِحُكْمِهِمْ شَاهِدِينَ

    I Dawed akked Sliman, mi êudden $ef yiger, ideg ksant wulli n medden. Nella d Inagan uêuddu nnsen.

  79. Ayah 79

    فَفَهَّمْنَاهَا سُلَيْمَانَ ۚ وَكُلًّا آتَيْنَا حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا ۚ وَسَخَّرْنَا مَعَ دَاوُودَ الْجِبَالَ يُسَبِّحْنَ وَالطَّيْرَ ۚ وَكُنَّا فَاعِلِينَ

    Nessfehm as p i Sliman. I sin, Nefka ûûwab, tamusni. Nêeppem i idurar akked igvav ad sbuccâen Dawed. D ayen Newqem.

  80. Ayah 80

    وَعَلَّمْنَاهُ صَنْعَةَ لَبُوسٍ لَّكُمْ لِتُحْصِنَكُم مِّن بَأْسِكُمْ ۖ فَهَلْ أَنتُمْ شَاكِرُونَ

    Nessêefv as, ad awen iûnaâ iceîîiven, ara iêarben fellawen si tiytiwin. Day a ppesnemmrem?

  81. Ayah 81

    وَلِسُلَيْمَانَ الرِّيحَ عَاصِفَةً تَجْرِي بِأَمْرِهِ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ الَّتِي بَارَكْنَا فِيهَا ۚ وَكُنَّا بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَالِمِينَ

    I Sliman, avu n tarikt, ipûuvu s lameô is, $er tmurt i Neôqa. Nezga Néeô yal cci.

  82. Ayah 82

    وَمِنَ الشَّيَاطِينِ مَن يَغُوصُونَ لَهُ وَيَعْمَلُونَ عَمَلًا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ ۖ وَكُنَّا لَهُمْ حَافِظِينَ

    Ger ccwaîen, wa i$evves as, wa iqubel cce$l nniven. Nella d imêaraben nnsen.

  83. Ayah 83

    وَأَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُ أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

    I Yub, mi inuj $eô Mass is: "nek pwa$e$. Keçç, Tifev akw wid ipêunun".

  84. Ayah 84

    فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ فَكَشَفْنَا مَا بِهِ مِن ضُرٍّ ۖ وَآتَيْنَاهُ أَهْلَهُ وَمِثْلَهُم مَّعَهُمْ رَحْمَةً مِّنْ عِندِنَا وَذِكْرَىٰ لِلْعَابِدِينَ

    Njaweb as ed. Nekkes as it ivuôôen; Nerra yas d tawacult is, akw, yides, tin i p icban. D aêunu s$uône£, d asmekti i iâabaden.

  85. Ayah 85

    وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِدْرِيسَ وَذَا الْكِفْلِ ۖ كُلٌّ مِّنَ الصَّابِرِينَ

    Ismaâil, Idris, Dulkifl, akken ma llan, d iûebôiyen.

  86. Ayah 86

    وَأَدْخَلْنَاهُمْ فِي رَحْمَتِنَا ۖ إِنَّهُم مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ

    Nesskecm iten deg uêunu nne£. Nitni, s tidep, seg wid imaânen.

  87. Ayah 87

    وَذَا النُّونِ إِذ ذَّهَبَ مُغَاضِبًا فَظَنَّ أَن لَّن نَّقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ فَنَادَىٰ فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ أَن لَّا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ

    I Dannun, mi iôuê s wurrif. I$il ur Nesâi ara adabu fellas. Inâaô, di tellis: "ur illi ôebbi siwa Keçç. Gedha s yiseK! Nek lli$ si imednas".

  88. Ayah 88

    فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْغَمِّ ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُنجِي الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

    Njaweb as ed. Nâateq it si éémik. Akka ay Nâateq lmumnin.

  89. Ayah 89

    وَزَكَرِيَّا إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُ رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِي فَرْدًا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْوَارِثِينَ

    I Zakaria, mi inuj $uô Mass is: "a Mass iw! Ur iyi Ippaooa ara d amengur. Keçç, Tifev akw iweôôaten".

  90. Ayah 90

    فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ يَحْيَىٰ وَأَصْلَحْنَا لَهُ زَوْجَهُ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ وَيَدْعُونَنَا رَغَبًا وَرَهَبًا ۖ وَكَانُوا لَنَا خَاشِعِينَ

    Njaweb as ed. Nefka yas Yaêia, Nesseêla yas tameîîut is. Nitni, s tidep, izga izwar lxiô nnsen. Pnujun $uône£, s tugwdi d usirem. Unzen a£.

  91. Ayah 91

    وَالَّتِي أَحْصَنَتْ فَرْجَهَا فَنَفَخْنَا فِيهَا مِن رُّوحِنَا وَجَعَلْنَاهَا وَابْنَهَا آيَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ

    Ar tin i iqqimen zeddiget, Nûuv si ôôuê nne£. Nerra p, neppat akked mmi s, d assekni i imavalen.

  92. Ayah 92

    إِنَّ هَـٰذِهِ أُمَّتُكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَأَنَا رَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُونِ

    Lois agi nnwen, war ccek, d lois yiwen. Nek d Mass nnwen, ihi âabdet iyI.

  93. Ayah 93

    وَتَقَطَّعُوا أَمْرَهُم بَيْنَهُمْ ۖ كُلٌّ إِلَيْنَا رَاجِعُونَ

    Gezmen lameô nnsen garasen. £uône£, akw, ara d u$alen.

  94. Ayah 94

    فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِنَ الصَّالِحَاتِ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَا كُفْرَانَ لِسَعْيِهِ وَإِنَّا لَهُ كَاتِبُونَ

    Win ixeddmen ayen ilhan u irna iumen, ur ipôuêu laâtab is. Ih, Nekwni Nepparu fellas.

  95. Ayah 95

    وَحَرَامٌ عَلَىٰ قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَاهَا أَنَّهُمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ

    Ipwagdel asen a d u$alen $eô temdint i Nesqucc,

  96. Ayah 96

    حَتَّىٰ إِذَا فُتِحَتْ يَأْجُوجُ وَمَأْجُوجُ وَهُم مِّن كُلِّ حَدَبٍ يَنسِلُونَ

    alamma serrêen d i Iaouo d Maouo. Nitni, si yal ti$ilt, a d azzlen.

  97. Ayah 97

    وَاقْتَرَبَ الْوَعْدُ الْحَقُّ فَإِذَا هِيَ شَاخِصَةٌ أَبْصَارُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا قَدْ كُنَّا فِي غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ هَـٰذَا بَلْ كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ

    Tqeôb ed lemâahda n tidep. Atan iqquô yiéôi n wid ijehlen: "a tawa$it nne$! Ni$ nella ne$fel $ef waya. U, aâer, nella d imednas.

  98. Ayah 98

    إِنَّكُمْ وَمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ حَصَبُ جَهَنَّمَ أَنتُمْ لَهَا وَارِدُونَ

    Kunwi, s tidep, akked wayen tâabden, war Öebbi, d is$aôen n Loahennama. £ures, kunwi, teppeddum.

  99. Ayah 99

    لَوْ كَانَ هَـٰؤُلَاءِ آلِهَةً مَّا وَرَدُوهَا ۖ وَكُلٌّ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ

    Lemmer llin widak d iôebbiten, ur p keççmen. Akw, ad wekkôen degs.

  100. Ayah 100

    لَهُمْ فِيهَا زَفِيرٌ وَهُمْ فِيهَا لَا يَسْمَعُونَ

    I nitni, degs, zzhir. Nitni, degs, ur sellen.

  101. Ayah 101

    إِنَّ الَّذِينَ سَبَقَتْ لَهُم مِّنَّا الْحُسْنَىٰ أُولَـٰئِكَ عَنْهَا مُبْعَدُونَ

    Ma d wid iwumi izwar ssaâd, s$uône£, widak, segs, ad baâden.

  102. Ayah 102

    لَا يَسْمَعُونَ حَسِيسَهَا ۖ وَهُمْ فِي مَا اشْتَهَتْ أَنفُسُهُمْ خَالِدُونَ

    Ur sellen i ûûut is. Ad wekkôen deg wayen cihwant teôwiêin nnsen.

  103. Ayah 103

    لَا يَحْزُنُهُمُ الْفَزَعُ الْأَكْبَرُ وَتَتَلَقَّاهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ هَـٰذَا يَوْمُكُمُ الَّذِي كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ

    Ur ten i$webbel lweêc abarar. A ten magrent lmalayek: "assa, d ass nnwen, i wen ippuwaââden".

  104. Ayah 104

    يَوْمَ نَطْوِي السَّمَاءَ كَطَيِّ السِّجِلِّ لِلْكُتُبِ ۚ كَمَا بَدَأْنَا أَوَّلَ خَلْقٍ نُّعِيدُهُ ۚ وَعْدًا عَلَيْنَا ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا فَاعِلِينَ

    Ass ideg ara Nesnefvas igenni am tweôqep n tira, akken Nebda axlaq amezwaru, ad as Nales. D lemâahda fellane£. Akka, ih, ara Nexdem.

  105. Ayah 105

    وَلَقَدْ كَتَبْنَا فِي الزَّبُورِ مِن بَعْدِ الذِّكْرِ أَنَّ الْأَرْضَ يَرِثُهَا عِبَادِيَ الصَّالِحُونَ

    Ni$ Nura deg Ihellilen, deffir usmekti: "ara iweôten tamurt, d imdanen iW imaânen".

  106. Ayah 106

    إِنَّ فِي هَـٰذَا لَبَلَاغًا لِّقَوْمٍ عَابِدِينَ

    Deg wayagi, war ccekk, d asali i ugdud iâabbaden.

  107. Ayah 107

    وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ

    Ur k id Nuzen, siwa d aêunu i imavalen.

  108. Ayah 108

    قُلْ إِنَّمَا يُوحَىٰ إِلَيَّ أَنَّمَا إِلَـٰهُكُمْ إِلَـٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ ۖ فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ

    Ini: "iyi d ippuweêêan, siwa: Öebbi nnwen d Öebbi Yiwen kan. Kunwi ma d imvuâen"?

  109. Ayah 109

    فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا فَقُلْ آذَنتُكُمْ عَلَىٰ سَوَاءٍ ۖ وَإِنْ أَدْرِي أَقَرِيبٌ أَم بَعِيدٌ مَّا تُوعَدُونَ

    Ma wexxôen, ini: "âaggne$ awen, akken ma tellam; ur éôi$ ma iqôeb, ne$ ibâad, ayen i wen ippuwaââden.

  110. Ayah 110

    إِنَّهُ يَعْلَمُ الْجَهْرَ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْتُمُونَ

    Neppa, s tidep, Issen awal d iff$en, Issen ayen tessusmem.

  111. Ayah 111

    وَإِنْ أَدْرِي لَعَلَّهُ فِتْنَةٌ لَّكُمْ وَمَتَاعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٍ

    Ur éôi$ ma, ayagi, ahat d ahewwel nnwen, u d zzhu n tallit kan.

  112. Ayah 112

    قَالَ رَبِّ احْكُم بِالْحَقِّ ۗ وَرَبُّنَا الرَّحْمَـٰنُ الْمُسْتَعَانُ عَلَىٰ مَا تَصِفُونَ

    Inna: "a Mass iw! Eêkem s tidep. Mass nne$, Aênin, i nepper d Amâiwen, mgal ayen teppandim".

The Quran is the holy scripture of Islam. Meccan Surahs

The Meccan Surahs are the earliest revelations sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). They were revealed in Mecca, hence their name. These revelations form the foundation of the Islamic faith and contain guidance for Muslims on how to live their lives. The Meccan Surahs are also notable for their poetic beauty and lyrical prose.

Medinan Surahs

The Medinan Surahs are the later Surahs that, according to Islamic tradition, were revealed in Medina after the Prophet Muhammad's (صلى الله عليه وسلم) hijra from Mecca. They were revealed by Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) when the Muslim community was larger and more developed, as opposed to their minority position in Mecca.
