About this Surah

It is derived from the sentence idha nudiya-lis-salat-imin-yaum-il- Jumu'ati of verse 9. Although in this Surah injunctions about the Friday congregational Prayer also have been given, yet 'Jumu'ah' is not the title of its subject-matter as a whole, but this name too, like the names of other Surahs, is only a symbolic title.

Surah Al-Mu'minun · Mü'minûn

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. Ayah 69

    أَمْ لَمْ يَعْرِفُوا رَسُولَهُمْ فَهُمْ لَهُ مُنكِرُونَ

    Yoksa Peygamberlerini tanımazlar mı ki onu inkar etmedeler?

  2. Ayah 70

    أَمْ يَقُولُونَ بِهِ جِنَّةٌ ۚ بَلْ جَاءَهُم بِالْحَقِّ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ لِلْحَقِّ كَارِهُونَ

    Yoksa onda delilik var mı derler? Hayır, o, gerçek olan Kur'an'la gelmiştir onlara, fakat çoğu gerçeği istemez.

  3. Ayah 71

    وَلَوِ اتَّبَعَ الْحَقُّ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ لَفَسَدَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ وَمَن فِيهِنَّ ۚ بَلْ أَتَيْنَاهُم بِذِكْرِهِمْ فَهُمْ عَن ذِكْرِهِم مُّعْرِضُونَ

    Gerçek Tanrı, onların dileklerine uysaydı elbette gökler de bozulurgiderdi, yeryüzü de, onlarda olan varlıklar da. Hayır, biz onlara kendi yüceliklerini getirdik, gösterdik, fakat onlar kendi yüceliklerinden de yüz çevirmedeler.

  4. Ayah 72

    أَمْ تَسْأَلُهُمْ خَرْجًا فَخَرَاجُ رَبِّكَ خَيْرٌ ۖ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ

    Yoksa onlardan ücret mi istiyorsun? Gerçekten de Rabbinin mükafatı daha hayırlıdır ve o, rızık verenlerin en hayırlısıdır.

  5. Ayah 73

    وَإِنَّكَ لَتَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ

    Şüphe yok ki sen, onları mutlaka doğru yola çağırmadasın.

  6. Ayah 74

    وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ عَنِ الصِّرَاطِ لَنَاكِبُونَ

    Fakat gerçekten de ahirete inanmayanlar, doğru yoldan sapıyorlar.

  7. Ayah 75

    وَلَوْ رَحِمْنَاهُمْ وَكَشَفْنَا مَا بِهِم مِّن ضُرٍّ لَّلَجُّوا فِي طُغْيَانِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ

    Onlara acırsan ve uğradıkları zararı giderirsen gene azgınlıklarında şaşkıncasına ısrar edip giderler.

The Quran

The Quran is the holy scripture of Islam. Meccan Surahs

The Meccan Surahs are the earliest revelations sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). They were revealed in Mecca, hence their name. These revelations form the foundation of the Islamic faith and contain guidance for Muslims on how to live their lives. The Meccan Surahs are also notable for their poetic beauty and lyrical prose.

Medinan Surahs

The Medinan Surahs are the later Surahs that, according to Islamic tradition, were revealed in Medina after the Prophet Muhammad's (صلى الله عليه وسلم) hijra from Mecca. They were revealed by Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) when the Muslim community was larger and more developed, as opposed to their minority position in Mecca.
