About this Surah

This Surah comprises several discourses which were revealed on different occasions during the period ranging probably between the end of A.H. 3 and the end of A.H. 4 or the beginning of A.H. 5. Although it is difficult to determine the exact dates of their revelations, yet it is possible to assign to them a fairly correct period with the help of the Commandments and the events mentioned therein and the Traditions concerning them.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. Ayah 163

    إِنَّا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ كَمَا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ نُوحٍ وَالنَّبِيِّينَ مِن بَعْدِهِ ۚ وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالْأَسْبَاطِ وَعِيسَىٰ وَأَيُّوبَ وَيُونُسَ وَهَارُونَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ ۚ وَآتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ زَبُورًا

    Na të kemi dërguar ty shpalljen, ashtu siç i kemi dërguar shpallje Nuhit, dhe pejgamberëve pas tij; e, Ne iu kemi dërguar shpallje edhe Ibrahimit, edhe Ismailit, edhe Is’hakut, edhe Jakubit, edhe Isait, edhe Ejjupit, edhe Junusit, edhe Harunit, edhe Sulejmanit. E, Dautit ia kemi dhënë (Librin) Zeburin.

  2. Ayah 164

    وَرُسُلًا قَدْ قَصَصْنَاهُمْ عَلَيْكَ مِن قَبْلُ وَرُسُلًا لَّمْ نَقْصُصْهُمْ عَلَيْكَ ۚ وَكَلَّمَ اللَّهُ مُوسَىٰ تَكْلِيمًا

    (Na kemi dërguar) edhe pejgamberë, për të cilët, të kemi treguar më parë dhe pejgamberë për të cilët nuk të kemi treguar ty. E, Perëndia, me siguri, ka biseduar me Musain.

  3. Ayah 165

    رُّسُلًا مُّبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ لِئَلَّا يَكُونَ لِلنَّاسِ عَلَى اللَّهِ حُجَّةٌ بَعْدَ الرُّسُلِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا

    (Na kemi dërguar) pejgamberë, sihariques dhe lajmërues (frikën), që njerëzit të mos kenë ndonjë vërejtje ndaj Perëndisë, pas ardhjes së pejgamberëve. Se, Perëndia, është i Plotëfuqishëm dhe i Gjithëdijshëm.

  4. Ayah 166

    لَّـٰكِنِ اللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ بِمَا أَنزَلَ إِلَيْكَ ۖ أَنزَلَهُ بِعِلْمِهِ ۖ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ يَشْهَدُونَ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ شَهِيدًا

    Perëndia dëshmon Profetninë tënde (o Muhammed!) me atë që ta ka shpallur ty, të cilën Ai ta ka shpallur me dijeninë e Tij – edhe engjëjt dëshmojnë (këtë), e Perëndia, të mjafton ty dëshmitar.

  5. Ayah 167

    إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَصَدُّوا عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ قَدْ ضَلُّوا ضَلَالًا بَعِيدًا

    Me të vërtetë, ata që kanë mohuar dhe kanë penguar njerëzit nga rruga e Perëndisë, ata kanë humbur larg prej udhës së drejtë.

  6. Ayah 168

    إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَظَلَمُوا لَمْ يَكُنِ اللَّهُ لِيَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ وَلَا لِيَهْدِيَهُمْ طَرِيقًا

    Ata që nuk besojnë dhe bëjnë zullum, Perëndia nuk i falë ata, as nuk do t’i udhëzojë në kurrfarë rruge,

  7. Ayah 169

    إِلَّا طَرِيقَ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۚ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرًا

    përveç në rrugën e skëterrës, në të cilën do të qëndrojnë vazhdimisht dhe përgjithmonë, - e, kjo për Perëndinë është lehtë.

The Quran

Meccan Surahs

The Meccan Surahs are the earliest revelations sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). They were revealed in Mecca, hence their name. These revelations form the foundation of the Islamic faith and contain guidance for Muslims on how to live their lives. The Meccan Surahs are also notable for their poetic beauty and lyrical prose.

Medinan Surahs

The Medinan Surahs are the later Surahs that, according to Islamic tradition, were revealed in Medina after the Prophet Muhammad's (صلى الله عليه وسلم) hijra from Mecca. They were revealed by Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) when the Muslim community was larger and more developed, as opposed to their minority position in Mecca.
