Surah Ar-Rum · The Romans

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Verses around 30:52

  1. Ayah 49

    وَإِن كَانُوا مِن قَبْلِ أَن يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْهِم مِّن قَبْلِهِ لَمُبْلِسِينَ

    og de fryder seg, skjønt før det ble sendt ned til dem, var de i fortvilelse.

  2. Ayah 50

    فَانظُرْ إِلَىٰ آثَارِ رَحْمَتِ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ يُحْيِي الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمُحْيِي الْمَوْتَىٰ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

    Se Guds nådes spor, hvordan Han gir jorden liv etter dens dvale. Han er også de dødes livgiver. Han har makt over alle ting.

  3. Ayah 51

    وَلَئِنْ أَرْسَلْنَا رِيحًا فَرَأَوْهُ مُصْفَرًّا لَّظَلُّوا مِن بَعْدِهِ يَكْفُرُونَ

    Men om Vi sendte en vind, og de så alt gulne? Etter det ville de forbli vantro!

  4. Ayah 52

    فَإِنَّكَ لَا تُسْمِعُ الْمَوْتَىٰ وَلَا تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ الدُّعَاءَ إِذَا وَلَّوْا مُدْبِرِينَ

    Du kan ikke få døde til å høre! Du kan heller ikke få døve til å høre kallet, når de snur ryggen til og går.

  5. Ayah 53

    وَمَا أَنتَ بِهَادِ الْعُمْيِ عَن ضَلَالَتِهِمْ ۖ إِن تُسْمِعُ إِلَّا مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِآيَاتِنَا فَهُم مُّسْلِمُونَ

    Du kan ikke lede blinde ut av deres villfarelse! Du kan ikke få noen til å høre, unntatt de som tror på Vårt ord, og gir seg inn under Guds vilje.

  6. Ayah 54

    اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن ضَعْفٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِن بَعْدِ ضَعْفٍ قُوَّةً ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِن بَعْدِ قُوَّةٍ ضَعْفًا وَشَيْبَةً ۚ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ ۖ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيمُ الْقَدِيرُ

    Gud er den som skaper dere i svakhet. Så, etter svakheten, gir Han styrke, og så, etter styrke, gir Han svakhet og hvite hår. Han skaper det Han vil. Han er den Allvitende, den Allmektige.

  7. Ayah 55

    وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ يُقْسِمُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ مَا لَبِثُوا غَيْرَ سَاعَةٍ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كَانُوا يُؤْفَكُونَ

    Den dag, når timen kommer, vil synderne sverge at de ikke hadde mer enn en times tid på seg. Således var de på avveie.

The Quran

The Quran is the holy scripture of Islam. Meccan Surahs

The Meccan Surahs are the earliest revelations sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). They were revealed in Mecca, hence their name. These revelations form the foundation of the Islamic faith and contain guidance for Muslims on how to live their lives. The Meccan Surahs are also notable for their poetic beauty and lyrical prose.

Medinan Surahs

The Medinan Surahs are the later Surahs that, according to Islamic tradition, were revealed in Medina after the Prophet Muhammad's (صلى الله عليه وسلم) hijra from Mecca. They were revealed by Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) when the Muslim community was larger and more developed, as opposed to their minority position in Mecca.
