Surah Al-A'raf · Al-A‘rтf

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Verses around 7:136

  1. Ayah 133

    فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الطُّوفَانَ وَالْجَرَادَ وَالْقُمَّلَ وَالضَّفَادِعَ وَالدَّمَ آيَاتٍ مُّفَصَّلَاتٍ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا وَكَانُوا قَوْمًا مُّجْرِمِينَ

    Mandammo contro di loro l'inondazione e le cavallette, le pulci, le rane e il sangue, segni ben chiari. Ma furono orgogliosi e rimasero un popolo di perversi.

  2. Ayah 134

    وَلَمَّا وَقَعَ عَلَيْهِمُ الرِّجْزُ قَالُوا يَا مُوسَى ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِندَكَ ۖ لَئِن كَشَفْتَ عَنَّا الرِّجْزَ لَنُؤْمِنَنَّ لَكَ وَلَنُرْسِلَنَّ مَعَكَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ

    Quando il castigo li toccava, dicevano: “O Mosè, invoca per noi il tuo Signore, in forza del patto che ha fatto con te. Se allontanerai il castigo da noi, crederemo certamente in te e lasceremo partire con te i Figli di Israele”.

  3. Ayah 135

    فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمُ الرِّجْزَ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ هُم بَالِغُوهُ إِذَا هُمْ يَنكُثُونَ

    Allontanammo da loro il tormento, ma quando giunse il termine che dovevano rispettare, ecco che mancarono al loro impegno.

  4. Ayah 136

    فَانتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ فِي الْيَمِّ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا وَكَانُوا عَنْهَا غَافِلِينَ

    Allora Ci vendicammo di loro, li inghiottimmo nel mare, perché tacciavano di menzogna i Nostri segni, ed erano indifferenti ad essi.

  5. Ayah 137

    وَأَوْرَثْنَا الْقَوْمَ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا يُسْتَضْعَفُونَ مَشَارِقَ الْأَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبَهَا الَّتِي بَارَكْنَا فِيهَا ۖ وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ الْحُسْنَىٰ عَلَىٰ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا ۖ وَدَمَّرْنَا مَا كَانَ يَصْنَعُ فِرْعَوْنُ وَقَوْمُهُ وَمَا كَانُوا يَعْرِشُونَ

    E abbiamo fatto, del popolo che era oppresso, l'erede degli Orienti e degli Occidenti della terra che abbiamo benedetta. Così, la bella promessa del tuo Signore si realizzò sui Figli di Israele, compenso della loro pazienza. E distruggemmo ciò che Faraone e il suo popolo avevano realizzato ed eretto.

  6. Ayah 138

    وَجَاوَزْنَا بِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الْبَحْرَ فَأَتَوْا عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ يَعْكُفُونَ عَلَىٰ أَصْنَامٍ لَّهُمْ ۚ قَالُوا يَا مُوسَى اجْعَل لَّنَا إِلَـٰهًا كَمَا لَهُمْ آلِهَةٌ ۚ قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ قَوْمٌ تَجْهَلُونَ

    Facemmo traversare il mare ai Figli di Israele. Incontrarono un popolo che cercava rifugio presso i propri idoli. Dissero: “O Mosè, dacci un dio simile ai loro dèi”. Disse: “In verità siete un popolo di ignoranti”.

  7. Ayah 139

    إِنَّ هَـٰؤُلَاءِ مُتَبَّرٌ مَّا هُمْ فِيهِ وَبَاطِلٌ مَّا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ

    Sì, il culto a cui si dedicano sarà distrutto e sarà reso vano il loro operare.

Meccan Surahs

The Meccan Surahs are the earliest revelations sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). They were revealed in Mecca, hence their name. These revelations form the foundation of the Islamic faith and contain guidance for Muslims on how to live their lives. The Meccan Surahs are also notable for their poetic beauty and lyrical prose.

Medinan Surahs

The Medinan Surahs are the later Surahs that, according to Islamic tradition, were revealed in Medina after the Prophet Muhammad's (صلى الله عليه وسلم) hijra from Mecca. They were revealed by Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) when the Muslim community was larger and more developed, as opposed to their minority position in Mecca.
