Surah Al-A'raf · Al-A‘rтf

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. Ayah 126

    وَمَا تَنقِمُ مِنَّا إِلَّا أَنْ آمَنَّا بِآيَاتِ رَبِّنَا لَمَّا جَاءَتْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ

    ti vendichi su di noi, solo perché abbiamo creduto ai segni del nostro Signore, quando essi ci sono giunti. O Signore, concedici la sopportazione e facci morire [a Te] sottomessi”.

  2. Ayah 127

    وَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ مِن قَوْمِ فِرْعَوْنَ أَتَذَرُ مُوسَىٰ وَقَوْمَهُ لِيُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَيَذَرَكَ وَآلِهَتَكَ ۚ قَالَ سَنُقَتِّلُ أَبْنَاءَهُمْ وَنَسْتَحْيِي نِسَاءَهُمْ وَإِنَّا فَوْقَهُمْ قَاهِرُونَ

    I notabili, del popolo di Faraone, dissero: “Lascerai che Mosè e il suo popolo spargano corruzione sulla terra, abbandonando te e i tuoi dèi?”. Disse: “Poiché abbiamo il dominio su di loro, uccideremo immediatamente i loro figli maschi e risparmieremo le loro femmine”.

  3. Ayah 128

    قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِ اسْتَعِينُوا بِاللَّهِ وَاصْبِرُوا ۖ إِنَّ الْأَرْضَ لِلَّهِ يُورِثُهَا مَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ ۖ وَالْعَاقِبَةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ

    Disse Mosè al suo popolo: “Chiedete aiuto ad Allah e sopportate con pazienza: la terra è di Allah, ed Egli ne fa erede colui che sceglie tra i Suoi servi. L'esito felice sarà per coloro che [Lo] temono”.

  4. Ayah 129

    قَالُوا أُوذِينَا مِن قَبْلِ أَن تَأْتِيَنَا وَمِن بَعْدِ مَا جِئْتَنَا ۚ قَالَ عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمْ أَن يُهْلِكَ عَدُوَّكُمْ وَيَسْتَخْلِفَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرَ كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُونَ

    Dissero: “Siamo stati perseguitati prima che tu venissi e dopo che venisti a noi”. Rispose: “Può darsi che presto il vostro Signore distrugga il nemico e vi costituisca vicari sul paese, per poi guardare quello che farete”.

  5. Ayah 130

    وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَا آلَ فِرْعَوْنَ بِالسِّنِينَ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ

    Colpimmo la gente di Faraone con anni di miseria e scarsità di frutti, affinché riflettessero.

  6. Ayah 131

    فَإِذَا جَاءَتْهُمُ الْحَسَنَةُ قَالُوا لَنَا هَـٰذِهِ ۖ وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَطَّيَّرُوا بِمُوسَىٰ وَمَن مَّعَهُ ۗ أَلَا إِنَّمَا طَائِرُهُمْ عِندَ اللَّهِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

    Quando veniva loro un bene dicevano: “Questo ci spetta”; mentre se li colpiva un male, vedevano in Mosè e in quelli che erano con lui, uccelli di malaugurio. Non dipendeva da Allah la loro sorte? Ma la maggior parte di loro non sapeva.

  7. Ayah 132

    وَقَالُوا مَهْمَا تَأْتِنَا بِهِ مِنْ آيَةٍ لِّتَسْحَرَنَا بِهَا فَمَا نَحْنُ لَكَ بِمُؤْمِنِينَ

    Dissero: “Qualunque segno addurrai per stregarci, noi non crederemo in te”.

Meccan Surahs

The Meccan Surahs are the earliest revelations sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). They were revealed in Mecca, hence their name. These revelations form the foundation of the Islamic faith and contain guidance for Muslims on how to live their lives. The Meccan Surahs are also notable for their poetic beauty and lyrical prose.

Medinan Surahs

The Medinan Surahs are the later Surahs that, according to Islamic tradition, were revealed in Medina after the Prophet Muhammad's (صلى الله عليه وسلم) hijra from Mecca. They were revealed by Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) when the Muslim community was larger and more developed, as opposed to their minority position in Mecca.
