Surah Al-An'am · Il bestiame

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. Ayah 42

    وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَىٰ أُمَمٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَأَخَذْنَاهُم بِالْبَأْسَاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَضَرَّعُونَ

    Già inviammo [profeti] alle comunità che ti hanno preceduto, poi le colpimmo con avversità e afflizioni, affinché divenissero umili.

  2. Ayah 43

    فَلَوْلَا إِذْ جَاءَهُم بَأْسُنَا تَضَرَّعُوا وَلَـٰكِن قَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ

    Perché non divennero umili, quando giunse loro il Nostro rigore? I loro cuori, invece, si indurirono e Satana abbellì ai loro occhi quello che facevano.

  3. Ayah 44

    فَلَمَّا نَسُوا مَا ذُكِّرُوا بِهِ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ أَبْوَابَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا فَرِحُوا بِمَا أُوتُوا أَخَذْنَاهُم بَغْتَةً فَإِذَا هُم مُّبْلِسُونَ

    Quando, poi, dimenticarono quello che era stato loro ricordato, aprimmo loro le porte di ogni bene. E mentre esultavano per quello che avevamo donato, li afferrammo all'improvviso ed eccoli disperati.

  4. Ayah 45

    فَقُطِعَ دَابِرُ الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا ۚ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

    Così fu eliminata anche l'ultima parte del popolo degli oppressori. La lode appartiene ad Allah, Signore dei mondi!

  5. Ayah 46

    قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ سَمْعَكُمْ وَأَبْصَارَكُمْ وَخَتَمَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِكُم مَّنْ إِلَـٰهٌ غَيْرُ اللَّهِ يَأْتِيكُم بِهِ ۗ انظُرْ كَيْفَ نُصَرِّفُ الْآيَاتِ ثُمَّ هُمْ يَصْدِفُونَ

    Di': “Pensate che se Allah vi privasse dell'udito e della vista e sigillasse i vostri cuori, quale altro dio all'infuori di Allah ve li potrebbe rendere?”. Guarda come esplicitiamo per loro i Nostri segni, eppure se ne allontanano.

  6. Ayah 47

    قُلْ أَرَأَيْتَكُمْ إِنْ أَتَاكُمْ عَذَابُ اللَّهِ بَغْتَةً أَوْ جَهْرَةً هَلْ يُهْلَكُ إِلَّا الْقَوْمُ الظَّالِمُونَ

    Di': “Pensate, se vi cogliesse il castigo di Allah, improvviso o manifesto...Chi farà perire se non il popolo degli ingiusti?”.

  7. Ayah 48

    وَمَا نُرْسِلُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ ۖ فَمَنْ آمَنَ وَأَصْلَحَ فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ

    Non mandammo gli inviati se non come nunzi e ammonitori: quanto a chi crede e si emenda, non avrà nulla da temere e non sarà afflitto.

The Quran

Meccan Surahs

The Meccan Surahs are the earliest revelations sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). They were revealed in Mecca, hence their name. These revelations form the foundation of the Islamic faith and contain guidance for Muslims on how to live their lives. The Meccan Surahs are also notable for their poetic beauty and lyrical prose.

Medinan Surahs

The Medinan Surahs are the later Surahs that, according to Islamic tradition, were revealed in Medina after the Prophet Muhammad's (صلى الله عليه وسلم) hijra from Mecca. They were revealed by Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) when the Muslim community was larger and more developed, as opposed to their minority position in Mecca.
