بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Verses around 28:9

  1. Ayah 6

    وَنُمَكِّنَ لَهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَنُرِيَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَهَامَانَ وَجُنُودَهُمَا مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا يَحْذَرُونَ

    [Volevamo] consolidarli sulla terra e, loro tramite, far vedere a Faraone e Hâmân e alle loro armate quello che paventavano.

  2. Ayah 7

    وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ أُمِّ مُوسَىٰ أَنْ أَرْضِعِيهِ ۖ فَإِذَا خِفْتِ عَلَيْهِ فَأَلْقِيهِ فِي الْيَمِّ وَلَا تَخَافِي وَلَا تَحْزَنِي ۖ إِنَّا رَادُّوهُ إِلَيْكِ وَجَاعِلُوهُ مِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ

    Rivelammo alla madre di Mosè: “Allattalo e, quando temerai per lui, gettalo nel fiume e non temere e non essere afflitta: Noi te lo restituiremo e faremo di lui uno degli Inviati”.

  3. Ayah 8

    فَالْتَقَطَهُ آلُ فِرْعَوْنَ لِيَكُونَ لَهُمْ عَدُوًّا وَحَزَنًا ۗ إِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ وَهَامَانَ وَجُنُودَهُمَا كَانُوا خَاطِئِينَ

    Lo raccolse la gente di Faraone, sì che potesse diventare loro nemico e causa di tristezza. Davvero Faraone e Hâmân e le loro armate erano colpevoli.

  4. Ayah 9

    وَقَالَتِ امْرَأَتُ فِرْعَوْنَ قُرَّتُ عَيْنٍ لِّي وَلَكَ ۖ لَا تَقْتُلُوهُ عَسَىٰ أَن يَنفَعَنَا أَوْ نَتَّخِذَهُ وَلَدًا وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

    Disse la moglie di Faraone: “[Questo bambino sarà] la gioia dei miei occhi e dei tuoi! Non lo uccidete! Forse ci sarà utile, o lo adotteremo come un figlio”. Non avevano alcun sospetto.

  5. Ayah 10

    وَأَصْبَحَ فُؤَادُ أُمِّ مُوسَىٰ فَارِغًا ۖ إِن كَادَتْ لَتُبْدِي بِهِ لَوْلَا أَن رَّبَطْنَا عَلَىٰ قَلْبِهَا لِتَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

    Il cuore della madre di Mosè fu come fosse vuoto. Poco mancò che non svelasse ogni cosa, se non avessimo rafforzato il suo cuore, sì che rimanesse credente.

  6. Ayah 11

    وَقَالَتْ لِأُخْتِهِ قُصِّيهِ ۖ فَبَصُرَتْ بِهِ عَن جُنُبٍ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

    Disse alla di lui sorella: “Seguilo”, e quella lo osservò di nascosto. Non avevano alcun sospetto.

  7. Ayah 12

    وَحَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِ الْمَرَاضِعَ مِن قَبْلُ فَقَالَتْ هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ يَكْفُلُونَهُ لَكُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُ نَاصِحُونَ

    E Noi gli interdicemmo ogni nutrice. Allora [la sorella] disse: “Posso indicarvi la gente di una casa, che potrà occuparsene per conto vostro e che gli sarà benevola?”.

Meccan Surahs

The Meccan Surahs are the earliest revelations sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). They were revealed in Mecca, hence their name. These revelations form the foundation of the Islamic faith and contain guidance for Muslims on how to live their lives. The Meccan Surahs are also notable for their poetic beauty and lyrical prose.

Medinan Surahs

The Medinan Surahs are the later Surahs that, according to Islamic tradition, were revealed in Medina after the Prophet Muhammad's (صلى الله عليه وسلم) hijra from Mecca. They were revealed by Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) when the Muslim community was larger and more developed, as opposed to their minority position in Mecca.
