Surah Al-Baqarah · La Giovenca

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. Ayah 87

    وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ وَقَفَّيْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِ بِالرُّسُلِ ۖ وَآتَيْنَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ الْبَيِّنَاتِ وَأَيَّدْنَاهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ ۗ أَفَكُلَّمَا جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ بِمَا لَا تَهْوَىٰ أَنفُسُكُمُ اسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ فَفَرِيقًا كَذَّبْتُمْ وَفَرِيقًا تَقْتُلُونَ

    Abbiamo dato il Libro a Mosè, e dopo di lui abbiamo inviato altri messaggeri. E abbiamo dato a Gesù, figlio di Maria, prove evidenti e lo abbiamo coadiuvato con lo Spirito Puro. Ogniqualvolta un messaggero vi portava qualcosa che vi spiaceva, vi gonfiavate d'orgoglio! Qualcuno di loro lo avete smentito e altri li avete uccisi.

  2. Ayah 88

    وَقَالُوا قُلُوبُنَا غُلْفٌ ۚ بَل لَّعَنَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَقَلِيلًا مَّا يُؤْمِنُونَ

    E dissero: “I nostri cuori sono incirconcisi”, ma è piuttosto Allah che li ha maledetti a causa della loro miscredenza. Tra loro sono ben pochi, quelli che credono.

  3. Ayah 89

    وَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ كِتَابٌ مِّنْ عِندِ اللَّهِ مُصَدِّقٌ لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ وَكَانُوا مِن قَبْلُ يَسْتَفْتِحُونَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُم مَّا عَرَفُوا كَفَرُوا بِهِ ۚ فَلَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ

    E quando, da parte di Allah, venne loro un Libro che confermava quello che avevano già - mentre prima invocavano la vittoria sui miscredenti - quando giunse loro quello che già conoscevano, lo rinnegarono. Maledica Allah i miscredenti.

  4. Ayah 90

    بِئْسَمَا اشْتَرَوْا بِهِ أَنفُسَهُمْ أَن يَكْفُرُوا بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ بَغْيًا أَن يُنَزِّلَ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ ۖ فَبَاءُوا بِغَضَبٍ عَلَىٰ غَضَبٍ ۚ وَلِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ

    A che vil prezzo hanno barattato le loro anime! Negano quello che Allah ha fatto scendere, ribelli all'idea che Allah, con la Sua grazia, faccia scendere la Rivelazione su chi vuole dei Suoi servi. Sono incorsi in collera su collera. I miscredenti avranno un castigo avvilente.

  5. Ayah 91

    وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ آمِنُوا بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ قَالُوا نُؤْمِنُ بِمَا أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا وَيَكْفُرُونَ بِمَا وَرَاءَهُ وَهُوَ الْحَقُّ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ ۗ قُلْ فَلِمَ تَقْتُلُونَ أَنبِيَاءَ اللَّهِ مِن قَبْلُ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

    E quando si dice loro: “Credete in quello che Allah ha fatto scendere”, rispondono: “Crediamo in quello che è stato fatto scendere su di noi”. E rinnegano il resto, anche se è la Verità che conferma quello che già avevano ricevuto. Di' loro: “E se siete credenti, perché in passato avete ucciso i profeti di Allah?”.

  6. Ayah 92

    وَلَقَدْ جَاءَكُم مُّوسَىٰ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ ثُمَّ اتَّخَذْتُمُ الْعِجْلَ مِن بَعْدِهِ وَأَنتُمْ ظَالِمُونَ

    E certamente Mosè vi ha recato prove evidenti. Poi, in sua assenza, vi prendeste il Vitello e prevaricaste.

  7. Ayah 93

    وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَاقَكُمْ وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَكُمُ الطُّورَ خُذُوا مَا آتَيْنَاكُم بِقُوَّةٍ وَاسْمَعُوا ۖ قَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَعَصَيْنَا وَأُشْرِبُوا فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الْعِجْلَ بِكُفْرِهِمْ ۚ قُلْ بِئْسَمَا يَأْمُرُكُم بِهِ إِيمَانُكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

    E [ricordate] quando stringemmo il Patto con voi ed elevammo il Monte. “Tenetevi saldamente a quello che vi abbiamo dato ed ascoltate!”, dissero: “Ascoltiamo ma disobbediamo”. E i loro cuori, per la miscredenza, si abbeverarono al Vitello. Di' loro: “Quanto è spregevole quel che vi ordina la vostra credenza, se davvero credete!”.

Meccan Surahs

The Meccan Surahs are the earliest revelations sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). They were revealed in Mecca, hence their name. These revelations form the foundation of the Islamic faith and contain guidance for Muslims on how to live their lives. The Meccan Surahs are also notable for their poetic beauty and lyrical prose.

Medinan Surahs

The Medinan Surahs are the later Surahs that, according to Islamic tradition, were revealed in Medina after the Prophet Muhammad's (صلى الله عليه وسلم) hijra from Mecca. They were revealed by Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) when the Muslim community was larger and more developed, as opposed to their minority position in Mecca.
