Surah Al-Baqarah · La Giovenca

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. Ayah 248

    وَقَالَ لَهُمْ نَبِيُّهُمْ إِنَّ آيَةَ مُلْكِهِ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ التَّابُوتُ فِيهِ سَكِينَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَبَقِيَّةٌ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ آلُ مُوسَىٰ وَآلُ هَارُونَ تَحْمِلُهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

    E disse il loro profeta: “Il segno della sovranità sarà che verrà con l'Arca. Conterrà una pace da parte del vostro Signore, nonché quel che resta di ciò che lasciarono la famiglia di Mosè e la famiglia di Aronne. Saranno gli angeli a portarla. Ecco un segno per voi, se siete credenti”.

  2. Ayah 249

    فَلَمَّا فَصَلَ طَالُوتُ بِالْجُنُودِ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مُبْتَلِيكُم بِنَهَرٍ فَمَن شَرِبَ مِنْهُ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي وَمَن لَّمْ يَطْعَمْهُ فَإِنَّهُ مِنِّي إِلَّا مَنِ اغْتَرَفَ غُرْفَةً بِيَدِهِ ۚ فَشَرِبُوا مِنْهُ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا مِّنْهُمْ ۚ فَلَمَّا جَاوَزَهُ هُوَ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ قَالُوا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا الْيَوْمَ بِجَالُوتَ وَجُنُودِهِ ۚ قَالَ الَّذِينَ يَظُنُّونَ أَنَّهُم مُّلَاقُو اللَّهِ كَم مِّن فِئَةٍ قَلِيلَةٍ غَلَبَتْ فِئَةً كَثِيرَةً بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ

    Mettendosi in marcia con le sue truppe, Saul disse: “Ecco che Allah vi metterà alla prova per mezzo di un fiume: chi ne berrà non sarà dei miei, eccetto chi ne prenderà un sorso con il palmo della mano”. Tutti bevvero, eccetto un piccolo gruppo. Poi, dopo che lui e coloro che erano credenti ebbero attraversato il fiume, gli altri dissero: “Oggi non abbiamo forza contro Golia e le sue truppe!”. Quelli che pensavano che avrebbero incontrato Allah dissero: “Quante volte, con il permesso di Allah, un piccolo gruppo ha battuto un grande esercito!”. Allah è con coloro che perseverano.

  3. Ayah 250

    وَلَمَّا بَرَزُوا لِجَالُوتَ وَجُنُودِهِ قَالُوا رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ

    E quando affrontarono Golia e le sue truppe dissero: “Signore, infondi in noi la perseveranza, fai saldi i nostri passi e dacci la vittoria sul popolo dei miscredenti”.

  4. Ayah 251

    فَهَزَمُوهُم بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَقَتَلَ دَاوُودُ جَالُوتَ وَآتَاهُ اللَّهُ الْمُلْكَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَعَلَّمَهُ مِمَّا يَشَاءُ ۗ وَلَوْلَا دَفْعُ اللَّهِ النَّاسَ بَعْضَهُم بِبَعْضٍ لَّفَسَدَتِ الْأَرْضُ وَلَـٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ

    E li misero in fuga con il permesso di Allah. Davide uccise Golia e Allah gli diede la sovranità e la saggezza e gli insegnò quello che volle. Se Allah non respingesse alcuni per mezzo di altri, la terra sarebbe certamente corrotta, ma Allah è pieno di grazia per le creature.

  5. Ayah 252

    تِلْكَ آيَاتُ اللَّهِ نَتْلُوهَا عَلَيْكَ بِالْحَقِّ ۚ وَإِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ

    Questi sono i Segni di Allah che ti recitiamo secondo verità. Invero tu sei uno degli inviati.

  6. Ayah 253

    تِلْكَ الرُّسُلُ فَضَّلْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ ۘ مِّنْهُم مَّن كَلَّمَ اللَّهُ ۖ وَرَفَعَ بَعْضَهُمْ دَرَجَاتٍ ۚ وَآتَيْنَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ الْبَيِّنَاتِ وَأَيَّدْنَاهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ ۗ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَا اقْتَتَلَ الَّذِينَ مِن بَعْدِهِم مِّن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ وَلَـٰكِنِ اخْتَلَفُوا فَمِنْهُم مَّنْ آمَنَ وَمِنْهُم مَّن كَفَرَ ۚ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَا اقْتَتَلُوا وَلَـٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يُرِيدُ

    Tra i messaggeri, a taluni abbiamo dato eccellenza sugli altri. A qualcuno Allah ha parlato, e altri li ha elevati a gradi superiori. A Gesù, figlio di Maria, abbiamo dato prove chiare e lo abbiamo coadiuvato con lo Spirito Puro. E se Allah avesse voluto, quelli che vennero dopo di loro non si sarebbero uccisi tra loro, dopo aver ricevuto le prove. Ma caddero nel disaccordo: alcuni credettero e altri negarono. Se Allah avesse voluto, non si sarebbero uccisi tra loro, ma Allah fa quello che vuole.

  7. Ayah 254

    يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنفِقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ يَوْمٌ لَّا بَيْعٌ فِيهِ وَلَا خُلَّةٌ وَلَا شَفَاعَةٌ ۗ وَالْكَافِرُونَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ

    O voi che credete, elargite di quello che vi abbiamo concesso, prima che venga il Giorno in cui non ci saranno più commerci, amicizie e intercessioni. I negatori sono coloro che prevaricano.

Meccan Surahs

The Meccan Surahs are the earliest revelations sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). They were revealed in Mecca, hence their name. These revelations form the foundation of the Islamic faith and contain guidance for Muslims on how to live their lives. The Meccan Surahs are also notable for their poetic beauty and lyrical prose.

Medinan Surahs

The Medinan Surahs are the later Surahs that, according to Islamic tradition, were revealed in Medina after the Prophet Muhammad's (صلى الله عليه وسلم) hijra from Mecca. They were revealed by Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) when the Muslim community was larger and more developed, as opposed to their minority position in Mecca.
