Surah Al-Baqarah · La Giovenca

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. Ayah 183

    يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ

    O voi che credete, vi è prescritto il digiuno come era stato prescritto a coloro che vi hanno preceduto. Forse diverrete timorati;

  2. Ayah 184

    أَيَّامًا مَّعْدُودَاتٍ ۚ فَمَن كَانَ مِنكُم مَّرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ ۚ وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ يُطِيقُونَهُ فِدْيَةٌ طَعَامُ مِسْكِينٍ ۖ فَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّهُ ۚ وَأَن تَصُومُوا خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ ۖ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

    [digiunerete] per un determinato numero di giorni. Chi però è malato o è in viaggio, digiuni in seguito altrettanti giorni. Ma per coloro che [a stento] potrebbero sopportarlo, c'è un'espiazione: il nutrimento di un povero. E se qualcuno dà di più, è un bene per lui. Ma è meglio per voi digiunare, se lo sapeste!

  3. Ayah 185

    شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِي أُنزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ الْهُدَىٰ وَالْفُرْقَانِ ۚ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ الشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ ۖ وَمَن كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ ۗ يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ بِكُمُ الْيُسْرَ وَلَا يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ الْعُسْرَ وَلِتُكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُوا اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَاكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ

    É nel mese di Ramadân che abbiamo fatto scendere il Corano, guida per gli uomini e prova di retta direzione e distinzione. Chi di voi ne testimoni [l'inizio] digiuni. E chiunque è malato o in viaggio assolva [in seguito] altrettanti giorni. Allah vi vuole facilitare e non procurarvi disagio, affinché completiate il numero dei giorni e proclamiate la grandezza di Allah Che vi ha guidato. Forse sarete riconoscenti!

  4. Ayah 186

    وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ ۖ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ ۖ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُوا لِي وَلْيُؤْمِنُوا بِي لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُونَ

    Quando i Miei servi ti chiedono di Me, ebbene Io sono vicino! Rispondo all'appello di chi Mi chiama quando Mi invoca. Procurino quindi di rispondere al Mio richiamo e credano in Me, sì che possano essere ben guidati.

  5. Ayah 187

    أُحِلَّ لَكُمْ لَيْلَةَ الصِّيَامِ الرَّفَثُ إِلَىٰ نِسَائِكُمْ ۚ هُنَّ لِبَاسٌ لَّكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لِبَاسٌ لَّهُنَّ ۗ عَلِمَ اللَّهُ أَنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَخْتَانُونَ أَنفُسَكُمْ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَعَفَا عَنكُمْ ۖ فَالْآنَ بَاشِرُوهُنَّ وَابْتَغُوا مَا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ ۚ وَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا حَتَّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَكُمُ الْخَيْطُ الْأَبْيَضُ مِنَ الْخَيْطِ الْأَسْوَدِ مِنَ الْفَجْرِ ۖ ثُمَّ أَتِمُّوا الصِّيَامَ إِلَى اللَّيْلِ ۚ وَلَا تُبَاشِرُوهُنَّ وَأَنتُمْ عَاكِفُونَ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ ۗ تِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللَّهِ فَلَا تَقْرَبُوهَا ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ آيَاتِهِ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ

    Nelle notti del digiuno vi è stato permesso di accostarvi alle vostre donne; esse sono una veste per voi e voi siete una veste per loro. Allah sa come ingannavate voi stessi. Ha accettato il vostro pentimento e vi ha perdonati. Frequentatele dunque e cercate quello che Allah vi ha concesso. Mangiate e bevete finché, all'alba, possiate distinguere il filo bianco dal filo nero; quindi digiunate fino a sera. Ma non frequentatele se siete in ritiro nelle moschee. Ecco i limiti di Allah, non li sfiorate! Così Allah spiega agli uomini i Suoi segni, affinché siano timorati.

  6. Ayah 188

    وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا أَمْوَالَكُم بَيْنَكُم بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتُدْلُوا بِهَا إِلَى الْحُكَّامِ لِتَأْكُلُوا فَرِيقًا مِّنْ أَمْوَالِ النَّاسِ بِالْإِثْمِ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

    Non divoratevi l'un l'altro i vostri beni, e non datene ai giudici affinché vi permettano di appropriarvi di una parte dei beni altrui, iniquamente e consapevolmente.

  7. Ayah 189

    يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْأَهِلَّةِ ۖ قُلْ هِيَ مَوَاقِيتُ لِلنَّاسِ وَالْحَجِّ ۗ وَلَيْسَ الْبِرُّ بِأَن تَأْتُوا الْبُيُوتَ مِن ظُهُورِهَا وَلَـٰكِنَّ الْبِرَّ مَنِ اتَّقَىٰ ۗ وَأْتُوا الْبُيُوتَ مِنْ أَبْوَابِهَا ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ

    Quando ti interrogano sui noviluni rispondi: “Servono alle genti per il computo del tempo e per il Pellegrinaggio. Non è una azione pia entrare in casa dalla parte posteriore, la pietà è nel timore di Allah. Entrate pure nelle case passando per le porte e temete Allah, affinché possiate essere tra coloro che prospereranno.

Meccan Surahs

The Meccan Surahs are the earliest revelations sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). They were revealed in Mecca, hence their name. These revelations form the foundation of the Islamic faith and contain guidance for Muslims on how to live their lives. The Meccan Surahs are also notable for their poetic beauty and lyrical prose.

Medinan Surahs

The Medinan Surahs are the later Surahs that, according to Islamic tradition, were revealed in Medina after the Prophet Muhammad's (صلى الله عليه وسلم) hijra from Mecca. They were revealed by Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) when the Muslim community was larger and more developed, as opposed to their minority position in Mecca.
