Surah Al-Baqarah · La Giovenca

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. Ayah 136

    قُولُوا آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالْأَسْبَاطِ وَمَا أُوتِيَ مُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ وَمَا أُوتِيَ النَّبِيُّونَ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ

    Dite: “Crediamo in Allah e in quello che è stato fatto scendere su di noi e in quello che è stato fatto scendere su Abramo, Ismaele, Isacco, Giacobbe e sulle Tribù, e in quello che è stato dato a Mosè e a Gesù e in tutto quello che è stato dato ai Profeti da parte del loro Signore, non facciamo differenza alcuna tra di loro e a Lui siamo sottomessi”.

  2. Ayah 137

    فَإِنْ آمَنُوا بِمِثْلِ مَا آمَنتُم بِهِ فَقَدِ اهْتَدَوا ۖ وَّإِن تَوَلَّوْا فَإِنَّمَا هُمْ فِي شِقَاقٍ ۖ فَسَيَكْفِيكَهُمُ اللَّهُ ۚ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

    Se crederanno nelle stesse cose in cui voi avete creduto, saranno sulla retta via; se invece volgeranno le spalle, saranno nell'eresia. Ma Allah ti basterà contro di loro. Egli è Colui Che tutto ascolta e conosce.

  3. Ayah 138

    صِبْغَةَ اللَّهِ ۖ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ اللَّهِ صِبْغَةً ۖ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ عَابِدُونَ

    Questa è la tintura di Allah! Chi mai può tingere meglio che Allah? Noi Lo adoriamo.

  4. Ayah 139

    قُلْ أَتُحَاجُّونَنَا فِي اللَّهِ وَهُوَ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكُمْ وَلَنَا أَعْمَالُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَالُكُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُخْلِصُونَ

    Di': “Volete polemizzare con noi a proposito di Allah, Che è il nostro e vostro Signore? A noi le nostre opere e a voi le vostre! Noi ci diamo solo a Lui.

  5. Ayah 140

    أَمْ تَقُولُونَ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالْأَسْبَاطَ كَانُوا هُودًا أَوْ نَصَارَىٰ ۗ قُلْ أَأَنتُمْ أَعْلَمُ أَمِ اللَّهُ ۗ وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن كَتَمَ شَهَادَةً عِندَهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ ۗ وَمَا اللَّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ

    Vorreste forse sostenere che Abramo e Ismaele e Isacco e Giacobbe e le Tribù erano giudaizzati o nazareni?”. Di': “Ne sapete forse più di Allah?”. Chi è peggior empio di chi nasconde qualcosa che ha ricevuto da Allah? Ma Allah non è incurante di quello che fate.

  6. Ayah 141

    تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ ۖ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ ۖ وَلَا تُسْأَلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ

    Questa è gente del passato. Avrà quello che ha meritato e voi avrete quello che meriterete e non dovrete rispondere della loro condotta.

  7. Ayah 142

    سَيَقُولُ السُّفَهَاءُ مِنَ النَّاسِ مَا وَلَّاهُمْ عَن قِبْلَتِهِمُ الَّتِي كَانُوا عَلَيْهَا ۚ قُل لِّلَّهِ الْمَشْرِقُ وَالْمَغْرِبُ ۚ يَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ

    E gli stolti diranno: “Chi li ha sviati dall'orientamento, che avevano prima?”. Di': “Ad Allah appartiene l'Oriente e l'Occidente, Egli guida chi vuole sulla Retta Via”.

Meccan Surahs

The Meccan Surahs are the earliest revelations sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). They were revealed in Mecca, hence their name. These revelations form the foundation of the Islamic faith and contain guidance for Muslims on how to live their lives. The Meccan Surahs are also notable for their poetic beauty and lyrical prose.

Medinan Surahs

The Medinan Surahs are the later Surahs that, according to Islamic tradition, were revealed in Medina after the Prophet Muhammad's (صلى الله عليه وسلم) hijra from Mecca. They were revealed by Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) when the Muslim community was larger and more developed, as opposed to their minority position in Mecca.
