Surah Maryam · Maria

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Verses around 19:59

  1. Ayah 56

    وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ إِدْرِيسَ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ صِدِّيقًا نَّبِيًّا

    Ricorda Idris, nel Libro. In verità era veridico, un profeta.

  2. Ayah 57

    وَرَفَعْنَاهُ مَكَانًا عَلِيًّا

    Lo elevammo in alto luogo.

  3. Ayah 58

    أُولَـٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ النَّبِيِّينَ مِن ذُرِّيَّةِ آدَمَ وَمِمَّنْ حَمَلْنَا مَعَ نُوحٍ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّةِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْرَائِيلَ وَمِمَّنْ هَدَيْنَا وَاجْتَبَيْنَا ۚ إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ خَرُّوا سُجَّدًا وَبُكِيًّا ۩

    Essi sono coloro che Allah ha colmato [della Sua grazia] tra i profeti discendenti di Adamo, tra coloro che portammo con Noè, tra i discendenti di Abramo e di Israele e tra coloro che abbiamo guidato e scelto. Quando venivano recitati loro i segni del Compassionevole, cadevano in prosternazione, piangendo.

  4. Ayah 59

    فَخَلَفَ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ خَلْفٌ أَضَاعُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَاتَّبَعُوا الشَّهَوَاتِ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَلْقَوْنَ غَيًّا

    Coloro che vennero dopo di loro tralasciarono l'orazione, e si abbandonarono alle passioni. Incontreranno la perdizione.

  5. Ayah 60

    إِلَّا مَن تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَأُولَـٰئِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَا يُظْلَمُونَ شَيْئًا

    Coloro che invece si pentono, credono e compiono il bene, entreranno nel Giardino e non subiranno alcun torto;

  6. Ayah 61

    جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ الَّتِي وَعَدَ الرَّحْمَـٰنُ عِبَادَهُ بِالْغَيْبِ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ وَعْدُهُ مَأْتِيًّا

    nei Giardini di Eden, che il Compassionevole ha promesso ai Suoi servi che [hanno creduto] nell'invisibile, ai Suoi servi, ché la Sua promessa è imminente;

  7. Ayah 62

    لَّا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا إِلَّا سَلَامًا ۖ وَلَهُمْ رِزْقُهُمْ فِيهَا بُكْرَةً وَعَشِيًّا

    e non ascolteranno colà nessun discorso vano, ma solo: “Pace!”, e verranno sostentati al mattino e alla sera.

The Quran

The Quran is the holy scripture of Islam. Meccan Surahs

The Meccan Surahs are the earliest revelations sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). They were revealed in Mecca, hence their name. These revelations form the foundation of the Islamic faith and contain guidance for Muslims on how to live their lives. The Meccan Surahs are also notable for their poetic beauty and lyrical prose.

Medinan Surahs

The Medinan Surahs are the later Surahs that, according to Islamic tradition, were revealed in Medina after the Prophet Muhammad's (صلى الله عليه وسلم) hijra from Mecca. They were revealed by Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) when the Muslim community was larger and more developed, as opposed to their minority position in Mecca.
