بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. Ayah 62

    قَالُوا يَا صَالِحُ قَدْ كُنتَ فِينَا مَرْجُوًّا قَبْلَ هَـٰذَا ۖ أَتَنْهَانَا أَن نَّعْبُدَ مَا يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُنَا وَإِنَّنَا لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّمَّا تَدْعُونَا إِلَيْهِ مُرِيبٍ

    Dissero: “O Sâlih, finora avevamo grandi speranze su di te. [Ora] ci vorresti interdire l'adorazione di quel che adoravano i padri nostri? Ecco che siamo in dubbio in merito a ciò verso cui ci chiami!”.

  2. Ayah 63

    قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِن كُنتُ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّي وَآتَانِي مِنْهُ رَحْمَةً فَمَن يَنصُرُنِي مِنَ اللَّهِ إِنْ عَصَيْتُهُ ۖ فَمَا تَزِيدُونَنِي غَيْرَ تَخْسِيرٍ

    Disse: “O popol mio, cosa pensate? Se mi baso su una prova evidente, giuntami dal mio Signore, Che mi ha concesso la Sua misericordia, chi mai mi aiuterebbe contro Allah, se Gli disobbedissi? Voi potreste solo accrescere la mia rovina.

  3. Ayah 64

    وَيَا قَوْمِ هَـٰذِهِ نَاقَةُ اللَّهِ لَكُمْ آيَةً فَذَرُوهَا تَأْكُلْ فِي أَرْضِ اللَّهِ وَلَا تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوءٍ فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ عَذَابٌ قَرِيبٌ

    O popol mio, ecco la cammella di Allah, un segno per voi. Lasciatela pascolare sulla terra di Allah e fate sì che non la tocchi male alcuno, ché vi colpirebbe imminente castigo”.

  4. Ayah 65

    فَعَقَرُوهَا فَقَالَ تَمَتَّعُوا فِي دَارِكُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ وَعْدٌ غَيْرُ مَكْذُوبٍ

    Le tagliarono i garretti. Disse: “Godetevi le vostre dimore [ancora per] tre giorni, ecco una promessa non mendace!”.

  5. Ayah 66

    فَلَمَّا جَاءَ أَمْرُنَا نَجَّيْنَا صَالِحًا وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِّنَّا وَمِنْ خِزْيِ يَوْمِئِذٍ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ الْقَوِيُّ الْعَزِيزُ

    Quando giunse il Nostro decreto, per Nostra misericordia salvammo Sâlih e coloro che avevano creduto, dall'ignominia di quel giorno. In verità, il Tuo Signore è il Forte, l'Eccelso.

  6. Ayah 67

    وَأَخَذَ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا الصَّيْحَةُ فَأَصْبَحُوا فِي دِيَارِهِمْ جَاثِمِينَ

    Il Grido investì quelli che erano stati ingiusti e li lasciò bocconi nelle loro case,

  7. Ayah 68

    كَأَن لَّمْ يَغْنَوْا فِيهَا ۗ أَلَا إِنَّ ثَمُودَ كَفَرُوا رَبَّهُمْ ۗ أَلَا بُعْدًا لِّثَمُودَ

    come se non le avessero mai abitate. In verità i Thamûd non credettero nel loro Signore? Periscano i Thamûd!

Meccan Surahs

The Meccan Surahs are the earliest revelations sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). They were revealed in Mecca, hence their name. These revelations form the foundation of the Islamic faith and contain guidance for Muslims on how to live their lives. The Meccan Surahs are also notable for their poetic beauty and lyrical prose.

Medinan Surahs

The Medinan Surahs are the later Surahs that, according to Islamic tradition, were revealed in Medina after the Prophet Muhammad's (صلى الله عليه وسلم) hijra from Mecca. They were revealed by Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) when the Muslim community was larger and more developed, as opposed to their minority position in Mecca.
