Surah Al-A'raf · The Heights

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. Ayah 84

    وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّطَرًا ۖ فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ

    በእነሱም ላይ (የእሳት) ዝናብን አዘነብንባቸው፡፡ የኃጢአተኞችም መጨረሻ እንዴት እንደነበረ ተመልከት፡፡

  2. Ayah 85

    وَإِلَىٰ مَدْيَنَ أَخَاهُمْ شُعَيْبًا ۗ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـٰهٍ غَيْرُهُ ۖ قَدْ جَاءَتْكُم بَيِّنَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ ۖ فَأَوْفُوا الْكَيْلَ وَالْمِيزَانَ وَلَا تَبْخَسُوا النَّاسَ أَشْيَاءَهُمْ وَلَا تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ بَعْدَ إِصْلَاحِهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

    ወደ መድየንም (ምድያን) ወንድማቸውን ሹዓይብን (ላክን)፤ አላቸው፡- «ወገኖቼ ሆይ! አላህን ተገዙ፡፡ ከእርሱ በቀር ምንም አምላክ የላችሁም፡፡ ከጌታችሁ ዘንድ ግልጽ ማስረጃ በእርግጥ መጥታላችኋለች፡፡ ስፍርንና ሚዛንን ሙሉ፡፡ ሰዎችንም አንዳቾቻቸውን (ገንዘቦቻቸውን) አታጉድሉባቸው፡፡ በምድርም ውስጥ ከተበጀች በኋላ አታበላሹ፡፡ ይህ ምእምናን እንደኾናችሁ ለእናንተ የተሻለ ነው፡፡»

  3. Ayah 86

    وَلَا تَقْعُدُوا بِكُلِّ صِرَاطٍ تُوعِدُونَ وَتَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِهِ وَتَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا ۚ وَاذْكُرُوا إِذْ كُنتُمْ قَلِيلًا فَكَثَّرَكُمْ ۖ وَانظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُفْسِدِينَ

    « (ሰዎችን) የምታስፈራሩና ከአላህም መንገድ በእርሱ ያመኑትን የምታግዱ መጥመሟንም የምትፈልጉዋት ኾናችሁ በየመንገዱ አትቀመጡ፡፡ ጥቂቶችም በነበራችሁና ባበዛችሁ ጊዜ አስታውሱ፡፡ የአጥፊዎችም መጨረሻ እንዴት እንደነበረ ተመልከቱ፡፡»

  4. Ayah 87

    وَإِن كَانَ طَائِفَةٌ مِّنكُمْ آمَنُوا بِالَّذِي أُرْسِلْتُ بِهِ وَطَائِفَةٌ لَّمْ يُؤْمِنُوا فَاصْبِرُوا حَتَّىٰ يَحْكُمَ اللَّهُ بَيْنَنَا ۚ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْحَاكِمِينَ

    «ከእናንተም በዚያ እኔ በእርሱ በተላክሁበት ያመኑ ጭፍሮችና ያላመኑ ጭፍሮችም ቢኖሩ በመካከላችን አላህ እስከሚፈርድ ታገሱ፡፡ እርሱም ከፈራጆች ሁሉ በላጭ ነው፡፡»

  5. Ayah 88

    قَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا مِن قَوْمِهِ لَنُخْرِجَنَّكَ يَا شُعَيْبُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَكَ مِن قَرْيَتِنَا أَوْ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِي مِلَّتِنَا ۚ قَالَ أَوَلَوْ كُنَّا كَارِهِينَ

    ከሕዝቦቹ እነዚያ የኮሩት መሪዎች፡- «ሹዓይብ ሆይ! አንተንና እነዚያን ከአንተጋር ያመኑትን ከከተማችን በእርግጥ እናስወጣችኋለን፡፡ ወይም ወደ ሃይማኖታችን መመለስ አለባችሁ አሉ፡፡ የጠላንም ብንኾን» አላቸው፡፡

  6. Ayah 89

    قَدِ افْتَرَيْنَا عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا إِنْ عُدْنَا فِي مِلَّتِكُم بَعْدَ إِذْ نَجَّانَا اللَّهُ مِنْهَا ۚ وَمَا يَكُونُ لَنَا أَن نَّعُودَ فِيهَا إِلَّا أَن يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ رَبُّنَا ۚ وَسِعَ رَبُّنَا كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا ۚ عَلَى اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا افْتَحْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْفَاتِحِينَ

    «አላህ ከእርሷ ከአዳነን በኋላ ወደ ሃይማኖታችሁ ብንመለስ በአላህ ላይ በእርግጥ ውሸትን ቀጠፍን፡፡ አላህ ጌታችን ካልሻም በስተቀር ለእኛ ወደእርሷ ልንመለስ አይገባንም፡፡ ጌታችን ዕውቀቱ ሁሉን ነገር ሰፋ፡፡ በአላህ ላይ ተጠጋን፡፡ ጌታችን ሆይ! በኛና በወገኖቻችን መካከል በውነት ፍረድ፡፡ አንተም ከፈራጆቹ ሁሉ በላጭ ነህ» (አለ)

  7. Ayah 90

    وَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِن قَوْمِهِ لَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتُمْ شُعَيْبًا إِنَّكُمْ إِذًا لَّخَاسِرُونَ

    ከወገኖቹም እነዚያ የካዱት መሪዎች «ሹዓይብን ብትከተሉ እናንተ ያን ጊዜ ከሳሪዎች ናችሁ» አሉ፡፡

Meccan Surahs

The Meccan Surahs are the earliest revelations sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). They were revealed in Mecca, hence their name. These revelations form the foundation of the Islamic faith and contain guidance for Muslims on how to live their lives. The Meccan Surahs are also notable for their poetic beauty and lyrical prose.

Medinan Surahs

The Medinan Surahs are the later Surahs that, according to Islamic tradition, were revealed in Medina after the Prophet Muhammad's (صلى الله عليه وسلم) hijra from Mecca. They were revealed by Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) when the Muslim community was larger and more developed, as opposed to their minority position in Mecca.
