Surah Al-A'raf · The Heights

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. Ayah 133

    فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الطُّوفَانَ وَالْجَرَادَ وَالْقُمَّلَ وَالضَّفَادِعَ وَالدَّمَ آيَاتٍ مُّفَصَّلَاتٍ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا وَكَانُوا قَوْمًا مُّجْرِمِينَ

    ወዲያም የወሃን ማጥለቅለቅ አንበጣንም ነቀዝንም እንቁራሪቶችንም ደምንም የተለያዩ ተዓምራት ሲኾኑ በነሱ ላይ ላክን ኮሩም ተንኮለኞችም ሕዝቦች ነበሩ፡፡

  2. Ayah 134

    وَلَمَّا وَقَعَ عَلَيْهِمُ الرِّجْزُ قَالُوا يَا مُوسَى ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِندَكَ ۖ لَئِن كَشَفْتَ عَنَّا الرِّجْزَ لَنُؤْمِنَنَّ لَكَ وَلَنُرْسِلَنَّ مَعَكَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ

    በእነርሱም ላይ ቅጣቱ በወደቀባቸው ጊዜ «ሙሳ ሆይ! ጌታህን ላንተ ቃል ኪዳን በገባልህ ነገር ለእኛ ለምንልን፡፡ ከእኛ ቅጣቱን ብታነሳልን ለአንተ በእርግጥ እናምንልሃለን፡፡ የእስራኤልንም ልጆች ከአንተ ጋር በእርግጥ እንለቃለን፤» አሉ፡፡

  3. Ayah 135

    فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمُ الرِّجْزَ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ هُم بَالِغُوهُ إِذَا هُمْ يَنكُثُونَ

    እነርሱም ደራሾቹ እኾኑበት ጊዜ ድረስ ቅጣትን ከእነሱ ላይ ባነሳን ጊዜ ወዲያውኑ እነርሱ ቃላቸውን ያፈርሳሉ፡፡

  4. Ayah 136

    فَانتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ فِي الْيَمِّ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا وَكَانُوا عَنْهَا غَافِلِينَ

    እነርሱ በተዓምራታችን ስለአስተባበሉም ከእርሷ ዘንጊዎች ስለኾኑም፤ ከእነሱ ተበቀልን፡፡ በባሕርም ውስጥ አሰጠምናቸው፡፡

  5. Ayah 137

    وَأَوْرَثْنَا الْقَوْمَ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا يُسْتَضْعَفُونَ مَشَارِقَ الْأَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبَهَا الَّتِي بَارَكْنَا فِيهَا ۖ وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ الْحُسْنَىٰ عَلَىٰ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا ۖ وَدَمَّرْنَا مَا كَانَ يَصْنَعُ فِرْعَوْنُ وَقَوْمُهُ وَمَا كَانُوا يَعْرِشُونَ

    እነዚያንም ደካሞች የነበሩትን ሕዝቦች ያችን በውስጧ በረከት ያደረግንባትን ምድር ምሥራቆችዋንም ምዕራቦቿንም አወረስናቸው፡፡ የጌታህም መልካሚቱ ቃል በእስራኤል ልጆች ላይ በመታገሳቸው ተፈጸመች፡፡ ፈርዖንና ሰዎቹም ይሠሩት የነበረውን (ሕንጻ) ዳስ ያደርጉትም የነበረውን አፈረስን፡፡

  6. Ayah 138

    وَجَاوَزْنَا بِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الْبَحْرَ فَأَتَوْا عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ يَعْكُفُونَ عَلَىٰ أَصْنَامٍ لَّهُمْ ۚ قَالُوا يَا مُوسَى اجْعَل لَّنَا إِلَـٰهًا كَمَا لَهُمْ آلِهَةٌ ۚ قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ قَوْمٌ تَجْهَلُونَ

    የእስራኤልንም ልጆች ባሕሩን አሻገርናቸው፡፡ ለእነርሱ በኾኑ ጣዖታት (መገዛት) ላይ በሚዘወትሩ ሕዝቦች ላይ አለፉም፡፡ «ሙሳ ሆይ፡- ለእነርሱ (ለሰዎቹ) አማልክት እንዷላቸው ለእኛም አምላክን አድርግልን» አሉት፡፡ «እናንተ የምትሳሳቱ ሕዝቦች ናችሁ፤» አላቸው፡፡

  7. Ayah 139

    إِنَّ هَـٰؤُلَاءِ مُتَبَّرٌ مَّا هُمْ فِيهِ وَبَاطِلٌ مَّا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ

    «እነዚህ እነርሱ በውስጡ ያሉበት ነገር ጠፊ ነው፡፡ ይሰሩት የነበሩትም ብልሹ ነው» (አላቸው)፤

Meccan Surahs

The Meccan Surahs are the earliest revelations sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). They were revealed in Mecca, hence their name. These revelations form the foundation of the Islamic faith and contain guidance for Muslims on how to live their lives. The Meccan Surahs are also notable for their poetic beauty and lyrical prose.

Medinan Surahs

The Medinan Surahs are the later Surahs that, according to Islamic tradition, were revealed in Medina after the Prophet Muhammad's (صلى الله عليه وسلم) hijra from Mecca. They were revealed by Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) when the Muslim community was larger and more developed, as opposed to their minority position in Mecca.
