بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. Ayah 4

    وَإِن يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كُذِّبَتْ رُسُلٌ مِّن قَبْلِكَ ۚ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ الْأُمُورُ

    ቢያስተባብሉህም ከአንተ በፊት የነበሩ መልክተኞች በእርግጥ ተስተባብለዋል፡፡ ወደ አላህም ነገሮች ሁሉ ይመለሳሉ፡፡

  2. Ayah 5

    يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ ۖ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُورُ

    እናንተ ሰዎች ሆይ! የአላህ ቀጠሮ እውነት ነው፡፡ የቅርቢቱም ሕይወት አታታላችሁ፡፡ አታላዩም (ሰይጣን) በአላህ (መታገስ) አያታላችሁ፡፡

  3. Ayah 6

    إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ فَاتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًّا ۚ إِنَّمَا يَدْعُو حِزْبَهُ لِيَكُونُوا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ السَّعِيرِ

    ሰይጣን ለናንተ ጠላት ነው፡፡ ስለዚህ ጠላት አድርጋችሁ ያዙት፡፡ ተከታዮቹን የሚጠራው ከእሳት ጓዶች እንዲኾኑ ብቻ ነው፡፡

  4. Ayah 7

    الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ ۖ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ

    እነዚያ የካዱት ለእነርሱ ብርቱ ቅጣት አልላቸው፡፡ እነዚያም ያመኑትና በጎ ስራዎችን የሠሩት ለእነርሱ ምሕረትና ታላቅ ምንዳ አልላቸው፡፡

  5. Ayah 8

    أَفَمَن زُيِّنَ لَهُ سُوءُ عَمَلِهِ فَرَآهُ حَسَنًا ۖ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ ۖ فَلَا تَذْهَبْ نَفْسُكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسَرَاتٍ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ

    መጥፎ ሥራው የተሸለመለትና መልካም አድርጎ ያየው ሰው (አላህ እንዳቀናው ሰው ነውን?) አላህም የሚሻውን ሰው ያጠምማል፡፡ የሚሻውንም ያቀናል፡፡ ስለዚህ በእነርሱ ላይ (ባለመቅናታቸው) ስለመቆላጨት ነፍስህ አትጥፋ፡፡ አላህ የሚሠሩትን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነውና፡፡

  6. Ayah 9

    وَاللَّهُ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ الرِّيَاحَ فَتُثِيرُ سَحَابًا فَسُقْنَاهُ إِلَىٰ بَلَدٍ مَّيِّتٍ فَأَحْيَيْنَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ النُّشُورُ

    አላህም ያ ነፋሶችን የላከ ነው፡፡ ደመናዎችንም ትቀሰቅሳለች፤ ወደ ሙት (ድርቅ) አገርም እንነዳዋለን፡፡ በእርሱም ምድርን ከሞተች በኋላ ሕያው እናደርጋታለን፡፡ ሙታንንም መቀስቀስ እንደዚሁ ነው፡፡

  7. Ayah 10

    مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ الْعِزَّةَ فَلِلَّهِ الْعِزَّةُ جَمِيعًا ۚ إِلَيْهِ يَصْعَدُ الْكَلِمُ الطَّيِّبُ وَالْعَمَلُ الصَّالِحُ يَرْفَعُهُ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ يَمْكُرُونَ السَّيِّئَاتِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ ۖ وَمَكْرُ أُولَـٰئِكَ هُوَ يَبُورُ

    ማሸነፍን የሚፈልግ የኾነ ሰው አሸናፊነት ለአላህ ብቻ ነው፤ (እርሱን በመግገዛት ይፈልገው)፡፡ መልካም ንግግር ወደርሱ ይወጣል፡፡ በጎ ሥራም ከፍ ያደርገዋል፡፡ እነዚያም መጥፎ ሥራዎችን የሚዶልቱ ለእነሱ ብርቱ ቅጣት አልላቸው፡፡ የእነዚያም ተንኮል እርሱ ይጠፋል፡፡

Meccan Surahs

The Meccan Surahs are the earliest revelations sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). They were revealed in Mecca, hence their name. These revelations form the foundation of the Islamic faith and contain guidance for Muslims on how to live their lives. The Meccan Surahs are also notable for their poetic beauty and lyrical prose.

Medinan Surahs

The Medinan Surahs are the later Surahs that, according to Islamic tradition, were revealed in Medina after the Prophet Muhammad's (صلى الله عليه وسلم) hijra from Mecca. They were revealed by Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) when the Muslim community was larger and more developed, as opposed to their minority position in Mecca.
